Sharp appearance! Neat fit! Easy operation of features… It works very well and is very spacious inside. But, i am not loving the dial for the timer.

I had this microwave installed as part of a recent kitchen renovation and it’s undoubtedly beautiful and has many useful features! I was using it early on as a convection oven while I waited for my Cafe range to arrive. Unfortunately since then the sounds for the buttons and the signal when the food is ready have become very weak and crackly sounding, and sometimes they don’t make any sound at all. It’s not a huge deal because everything else seems to still work fine, but it’s super disappointing for the price and for what is supposed to be a high end line of appliances. It also makes me worry about more significant issues down the line.

I'm still learning the ins and outs of this microwave, but so far it works well and looks great. It pairs well with the other Cafe' appliances. No complaints so far.

We bought this about a month ago. We have used it to heat up dinner plates and coffee We used the convection once and it all works great. Love this microwave.

Can communicate with my Cafe Range (via Bluetooth) and keeps track of my timers using the app (via my watch)! Very handy.

So far so good. We really haven’t used it that much. I just hope it lasts 17 years like our old GE. The stainless interior is nice.

It does an excellent job with whatever you place inside!! Cooks great and the installation was simple!!

I bought the whole cafe series and upgraded the handles with the brushed copper. I absolutely love all of them!!! Now I’m saving to buy the matching wine refrigerator with the brushed copper handles to complete my collection

The brass colored handle doesn’t match the brass handles on the range. GE and Home Depot are stonewalling me and both refuse to take responsibility, blaming the other. Also whose genius idea was it to do away with the keypad? You have to turn a dial to adjust all settings. Annoying. Wattage is only 950 so get ready for everything to take longer, too. I think I had a microwave with that wattage in the 80’s. It is so they can squeeze in the convection features which lets be honest how many of us will really ever use? Hopefully HD sees this and makes an attempt to make it right, but I am not hopeful. It is clearly an easily replaceable part.

Got the 4 piece kitchen set. Love the matte white. Classy wow replaced 17 y/o kitchenaid set. What an upgrade. Flows remarkably well with the original tile and cabinets. We will be repainting but not sure we need to do the counters now ! Install was a breeze the original mouth were used in a universal fashion.

Purchased this microwave to complete the set of Cafe Appliances that we wanted. Were skeptical because of the price and we purchased it without seeing floor model. Well, it does not disappoint! Beautiful as all of the other Cafe appliances, love the cooking perfection, stainless steel interior, bluetooth Chef Connect Features and the quiet performance. Worth every penny!

This microwave is also a regular convection oven. Does everything. Good thing since my stove is back ordered. Now 5 months! Buyer beware. Shipping is their problem.

This was installed yesterday. My previous microwave’s interior started peeling and I was using an old countertop model for the last 2 months . It is solid, quiet, and cooks very quickly. Has great vent fan and lighting features. Can be used as. Microwave, convection or both. Very easy on the eye.

We did a kitchen renovation. After much research we chose the GE Cafe combination microwave and convection oven. We have a small footprint but love to entertain so this was a perfect addition to go with the GE double oven. It also has the chef connect feature to pair with the stove and cooktop so we can plan and entertain with ease.

Have been using for about 3 weeks now, and very happy with it! Was pleased that when ordered from Home Depot there was only 2 week lead time and it was delivered on time, no delays which during the pandemic was a major plus! Replaced a broken Frigidaire Professional unit and love the look and features of this unit. The convection bake is a great alternative to using the oven. Would recommend GE Cafe!

Just bought a mat white range nice stove but the sides are black unfinished and in our kitchen 1/2 of the left side is exposed is there anyway we can order a mat white side as Iv never seen a white range with the sides not same as the front. Thanks for your help in advance.

We recently moved into a brand new home and chose the Cafe line of Appliances. This 1.7 Cu. Ft Convention Microwave compliments the other Cafe appliances and is excellent. It has a unique control panel. You don't enter the time to cook via a control panel keypad. You tap cook time and turn the round knob, which adds 15 seconds per click of the knob. Then you push the knob in once and press start. It's different than we've had in other microwaves, but once you get used to it, works quite well. It's very spacious inside and in addition to normal microwave functions, it's a convection oven as well. This will really come in handy during the holidays when oven space is at a premium and you need to cook casserole dishes. The interior is dark and won't show dirt as easily as lighter interior microwaves. You have all the preset options you need and you can dial in the the food you're planning to cook and the microwave determines the correct time and power automatically. Little things make a big difference too. The vent fan on most microwaves we've owned are obnoxiously loud. Not on this Cafe appliance. It vents really well and you can actually talk and be heard when it's on. The under-microwave lights are two levels and provide good light to the range burners below. During cooking, the microwave is quieter than any microwave we've as well. All in all, this is a great compliment to the Cafe appliances in our kitchen. Note that this appliance must be in high demand and came a few weeks after the other appliances came. If you're buying Cafe appliances, you may have to wait a bit longer for the microwave, but to us, it was well worth the wait.

Got this microwave and the pairing gas range together, and the ChefConnect function was one of the biggest reasons I bought this microwave. After I set the ChefConnect up for the first day, it worked for 2 hours and then was disconnected later that night. When I tried to trouble shoot, the only way to fix it is to climb all the way up to the cabinet to disconnect the microwave's power, plugs in again, and reset everything. After all that hassle, the chefconnect thing worked again for another few hours until not responding again. The bluetooth icon is still on, but the microwave won't respond when the stove is on (see picture) I tried to call HD and waited for too long before I had to drop to do work. Please contact me and get this fixed. I can't believe I spent all the extra money thinking that I got something premium but actually got something that broke immediately. Very disappointed!

I have had this microwave for over a month now and the amount of features on it is awesome! My only complaint is you can only change the time in 15 second intervals.

I was worried about replacing my oven and microwave with this one appliance. I am thrilled at the overall performance and the space I saved is so appreciated! Win, win!

This is a beautiful looking and well crafted design Convection Oven / Combination Microwave i still haven't used it in every way I allows you to cook, bake, and roast food. But i like the simple to use functions with analog dial and one touch preheat.

Great to use as a microwave but also love the baking option.

We have had this product in our home for a little over a year and I’ve already had to replace the magnetron two times. The first one at approximately 10 to 11 months, and now the second one a few months later. The first one was under warranty. The second one they will most likely try to charge me labor as it’s just over a year, but technically only a few months on the magnetron. The label says it was made in 2017 but we moved in the new house November 2019. It’s not so much it being under warranty but the inconvenience of not having it while the service company orders the parts, schedule the service date etc.. I was a service technician for 12 years and witnessed the two service people they sent to replace the first magnetron. They literally had to bend the right side cover/wrapper to install the magnetron because the factory stripped the screw on the cover on the left side and they could not remove it. Additionally, this is the worst user interface on a microwave we have ever had or witnessed. It is a combination of a touchpad and a mechanical knob which is very on UNINTUITIVE, even after you get “used” to it. Based on our user experience and its reliability to date we can’t honestly recommend this unit has a good value.

I bought this as a piece of the Cafe series. It took me a while to get used to the different touchpad, but once I did it was easy and convenient to use. I love that the lighting runs bright and brighter. Such an exceptional kitchen appliance.
