Every this is good but Cooktop Knob for GE Cafe Gas Stove are made of plastic and if Hot cooking pot touch to Knob it melts. That is bed part of this cook top.

I love the new Cafe cooktop! It was a great buy to pair with my new Cafe wall oven.

I love this cooktop. The center burner is wonderful for anytime you want a fast super hot burner for searing (think perfect scallops). We have had our cooktop for about 5 years and have had no problem until last November when one of the knobs seized. By the time the repairman got here the second knob had frozen. By the time the repairman got the parts and came to fix the first two knobs, the third knob had seized. And then by the time he came to fix the third knob, the fourth knob had seized. The central fifth burner knob is still fine but I feel certain it is due to seize soon as well. I DO NOT allow my stove or burners to get dirty. The valves that were removed look perfect. What is the deal?

We purchased the entire cafe series for our kitchen about 18 months ago and within a few months the knobs started melting on our cooktop. The "gas locked and unlocked" light just fell out too. All of our other products work great except for this one. Not what we expected after how much we spent...

We needed to replace the existing cooktop in a recently purchased house. Size was a critical issue as was the need for a high efficiency center burner. The Cafe cooktop checked all of those boxes. So far it has meet all of our expectations.

A great cooktop but the plastic knobs is an issue. Knob started melting with in a week.

Was sold a unit with an expired warranty. Shims used to install fell out after 2 months

Better than expected. Wish we'd gotten it sooner. In addition to great control of the heat, I like that the knobs stay lit when they are on. Just a nice reminder to turn them off when finished.

Nice looking cooktop with lots of heat to n the center burner. The bottom lit knobs are an elegant touch and let you know when a burner is on. On the negative side, the burners do not reignite if they go out and the knobs turn counter clockwise to to turn. Opposite of virtually every other cooktop I’ve used.

Excellent features such as grill snd fifth burner that heats water quickly! A godsend for pasta night! I would recommend this stove! I love to cook, but this stove is the best stove I have ever cooked on!

Need stove top protector

The quality is poorly made my knobs have metaled, the cushions to hold the grates fall off. The name brand and price not worth it I would not but it again

We had a loaner stove top in our new home. When oir Cafe became available, it was installed. It was worth the wait. Much faster cooking times and nicer to look at. Anxious to try the griddle.

Beautiful cooktop, love that it has 5 burners with plenty of room on each. It is a little hard to clean but I feel most cooktops are. I actually took off one star because of how hot it gets, I believe that it's because the grates sit up higher than my old cooktop so I can feel more heat out the sides as I'm cooking since heat source is further away from the pans it seems to fan out more. I have adjusted to setting temp lower but that kind of defeats the purpose of these powerful burners! I think it will just take some getting used to . I also love the gas lock-out feature as I have a special needs child and feel better about having the option to put the lock-out on.

Lovely to look at, lovely to cook on! Smooth grate surface makes it easy to move cookware around. Powerful burners that bring up the temperature quickly & also lower to hold a simmer. Burner placement is a good use of the space and the light under the burners makes it easy to ensure you don’t leave a burner on accidentally

Even cooking and nice features like lighted dials when on low. Love the locking feature, too

I love this cooktop. So easy to use and the big burner in the middle makes quick work of boing water.

Good: easy to install, grates are hefty, providing a smooth surface for moving pots around. Power burner works great and the griddle is very solid and nice. Bad: The "stainless steel" (probably aluminum) scratches WAY too easily. I've had this for about two years now and the grates have really started to bang up the metal finish. Knobs are also starting to peel. It’s a bit hard to clean and the metal rings on the burners get knocked off easily. Wish I’d spent a bit more on something less flawed.

We’ve never had gas before for cooking and my we love it!

Really disappointed in the cheap quality of plastic knobs that melt. I can’t find a replacement.

This cook top is so easy to clean! Looks Great! Easy to use.

The cook top gas burners work well as expected. The control knobs light up when turned on to show a burner is active. Cleaning the knobs by removing is easy. The cast iron greats are three pieces and are heavy duty. A con is th we stainless steel scratches easy and the shows many marks that cannot be removed without using appropriate methods which will take a significant effort. This is a major distractor on appearance for a unit that has been in service for just 4 months.

Not only is this cooktop a vast improvement over my 20 year-old one, but the rose gold knobs are metal, not plastic, and they complement my newly redecorated kitchen with the shiny rose gold drawer handles & cabinet knobs. Everyone says how cool it looks, especially with the little light glowing beneath each knob! Unique & quite functional!

We love the look and feel of our new cafe cooktop!! The lock feature and light beneath the knobs when on just add that much more to the overall look of our new kitchen remodel.

Easy to clean raised burners. Love dual heat center burner. Having two burners that can be reduced to simmer is a great plus.

This is a great stove top and puts out a great even flame!
