We purchased new appliances 3.5 years ago. All GE cafe line and boy do I regret it! Our fridge has been replaced already, dish washer replaced already, and now our microwave will not work. It turns constantly when plugged in and doesn’t heat food. These appliances cost way too much money for all the replacements needed in such a short time.

Love it…may be a 5 but have not used all the features.

The stainless interior makes for easy cleaning and the functionality is simply and intuitive. The materials just seem to be of a higher grade.

Microwave has lots of features most of which I’ll never use. Also the machine will occasionally start beeping uncontrollably and can only be shut off at the breaker. Not impressed with the quality especially given how expensive it was. 

The brand is beautiful and top notch !!! Go for the matte black !!!

It was a good microwave! Until it quit working in the 26 months of ordering it.

Let me tell you the ability to heat food when you are minutes away and have it heated due to wifi connectivity is amazing.

Microwave was minimally and stopped working after 2 1/2 years. More than once we’ve had less expensive microwaves last much longer that we passed on to our sons. Looking good on the outside, means nothing when cheap junk is on the inside.

Has good selection of cooking options. Disappointed with the finish - the control panels is hard to push - requires more pressure than expected - also the chrome around the bottom is not well secured as seen in the picture -

We were really looking forward to Cafe appliances for an elevated look in our brand new kitchen. The stainless finish of the microwave looks nice, but beware of actually using it. The cover for the buttons comes in with a sticker on the lower left corner which leaves residue. The cover is a cheap plastic and easily scratches from a short thumb nail. Now we have a brand new appliance with ugly scratches at the bottom. Had the sticker been placed on glass or metal there wouldn't have been an issue removing the residue. If you're looking for an microwave that will continue to look great overtime, this is not it.

My husband and I recently started remodeling our dream home and knew we wanted to splurge on the appliances. I am an interior designer and knew right away I wanted something unique and I am so happy we went with the Cafe appliances in the Matte Black with Bronze Hardware. Our kitchen is not only stylish but these appliances work so well and feel very luxury even in our small urban home. I especially love all the unique smart features with the microwave. Once our new cabinets arrive we will have it built in which I know will give it an even higher-end look. Would highly recommend!

I love that I can bake and it does not heat the house up like using a oven range and my cakes come out better and bake quicker

I am very happy with the way my microwave/convection oven works. I placed it in a new kitchen and it sits in a wall and I bought the auxiliary casing for around it and it looks wonderful. I highly recommend it to anybody looking for this type of unit you'll be very impressed with the way it looks and the way it works. I have no problem seeing all the numbers nor any anything else on the keyboard. It Cooks up very nicely and this is my first experience with a convection microwave oven.

Love not having a microwave above the oven. We decided to split the oven and microwave in our remodel. The microwave has been easy to use. It has a large capacity for cooking. I am still learning how to use the convection bake and roasting features.

I just received my new Cafe microwave in matte white to match the coordinating wine refrigerator. Aesthetically, it is very attractive. In practicality, it is greatly lacking. The lower power level makes a cooking the simplest of things more challenging. It more than 3 minutes for a bag of popcorn, which still left many. kernels unpopped. The programmed popcorn setting left many, many uncooked kernels. The black background of the control panel with very small white wording is extremely difficult to read. We have to use a flashlight to read the selections. It is not backlit, so in our fairly dim space, it is inordinately difficult to hit the correct buttons. There are many control options, which does require a person to look closely at the buttons. Additionally, the door is sagging on the hinge side, making the microwave look askew. The interior light is quite dim compared to microwaves I have owned in the past. I expected so much more from this high-end, high-priced microwave in the new glamorous Cafe line. I am attempting to obtain a return authorization number before seven day cut-off point.

I bought it 3 months ago and fell in love with all that it can do! Really enjoy the warming feature.

We purchased this microwave to install in an island and it has worked extremely well. Haven't had time to explore the scan to cook option but my kids are highly anticipating the day that they can scan a bar code and put items in the microwave to cook perfectly So far for a 1,000 watt microwave it certainly does the trick. Upper broiler is really nice and would definitely recommend or purchase again.

Love this microwave! It’s quiet and super easy to use. I haven’t even had the chance to try it’s non-microwave features yet. But can’t wait. And the matte white is beautiful

I bought this microwave to fit in an existing space.

This is what was chosen for us in our new house by the builder. It is placed right above our wall oven, making it look complete. This model cooks perfectly. Love the convection cooking. My complaint is cleaning the inside. I have found that using mild detergent does NOT take the cooked on debris, so it looks dirty inside...sigh. This is a countertop microwave. The installers have it looking like a wall unit. A bit small, but fits our needs.

I have this furniture for one year and it’s amazing

Disappointed that it stopped heating and the turntable stopped working. Sounds like similar problems to other units reviewed below.
