The light bulls stop working it was really difficult to pull it out , I am struggling to find the replacement. We start using this in May, so no very reliable

We wanted something slim and simple. Looks great. Not happy with mounting brakets. The brackets for the hood cover are about 3/8 inches to narrow. Had to shim out to get the hood to mount square and look right. The screws are also not white to match the hood…doesn’t make sense. Had to buy white screws to match….some very simple things that GE needs to fix.

Great look and matches my other GE cafe series appliances! Light and fan are very nice not too loud but works great!

We bought the unit a couple years ago but just got it installed this summer due to construction delays with the kitchen remodel. It’s now past the original one year purchase warranty, and we’ve already had to replace one light socket which was easy enough but expensive, and now a month later both lights fail to come on even though the light switch illuminates indicating they should be on. Sounds like the full light assembly now needs to be replaced. We do love the look of it and how nice it fits in with the other GE appliances we added. Other than the light issues it works great, but since it’s only been in use about 6 months and has already had two electrical issues, I question the quality of it for the long run even though it should be top of the line based on the cost.

My carpenter had some trouble putting the bolts in the sides. I also think it is not a great match aestheticly with the rest of the Cafe appliances. It is very sterile and stark looking.

We love the way it looks in our kitchen. It adds to our contemporary motif. It is very effective in removing the smells from cooking.

It's been 4 days since I've had this product installed, in terms of aesthetics it's beautiful. But in terms of functionality, the lights don't turn on properly and these small details are deceiving since it affects the quality of the product promised by the company; therefore, overall the products are too expensive to be having defects like the ones I've experienced.

We had picked this oven hood out in 2021 but with the increased price of lumber, we sadly had to put our small house build on hold. Now in 2023, we just finished the house and couldn't be more pleased at the slender design and functional aesthetics of this hood for tiny kitchen space.

Straightforward installation. Variable height is a nice option too. Works very well. Filter is easily removed to wash if needed. Great exhaust capability with up to 2 pots bubbling away and nice lighting. Glass wipes down easily if

It has been around 6 weeks so far. One if the biggest problem is continuous noise from the inside flat whenever there is a little bit wind. Hood cover is a disaster… too many marks and spots. GE hardly cares about it.

We purchased this hood with our complete Cafe suite. Looks great. Works great. Would like to have a trim kit to finish out the very top of the hood.

It’s beautiful and works great. I would have given 5 stars but it’s a little louder than we thought it’d be.

Just received and installed. Still waiting on my rangetop so I can use the vent. It is nice and quiet. Wish it had LED lights but maybe they can be converted?

We purchased this hood to complement our Cafe matte white slide in range that we Absolutely LOVE. The glass is loss and almost appears to be missing unless you stand very close though. I do also agree that the seam in the hood is not very attractive. The color also is not as white as the range. It more of a gray tone. This item can use some improvements.

We just installed this hood vent a few weeks ago to replace a stainless hood vent. This looks elegant and modern and the lighting over the stove is superb! I highly recommend!!

I had my new Vent Hood installed about 1 month ago. I purchased the Hood because it had a modern style and it matched all my other GE Slate appliances. My issue with this Hood is the chimney. The place where the two pieces fit together is terrible. The two chimney pieces do not firmly attach to one another. The metal is so flexible that if you go to dust, the top piece could fall down. The chimney pieces need to have a screw hole so you can screw the two pieces together or design the bottom chimney longer and eliminate the top chimney. I'm really disappointed with how the chimney fits together. I hate the seam as you'll see in the attached photo.

This hood is a signature feature in my newly renovated kitchen. I love the way it looks and it works great!

Appliance has not been installed yet. Kitchen remodeling has not started, so I can not comment on the performance or features of the appliances. However: 1. Only the drawer Microwave CWL112P4R1WS and Wall Chimney Vent Hood CVW73014M1WM included the Owner’s Manuals. The Chimney Hood literature package was complete. Not true for the other noted appliances. 2. I am surprised that the kit did not include the charcoal filterJXCF71

It is beautifully designed, it matches perfectly, the sound is not so high

This is the perfect addition to our modern kitchen. Pulls plenty of air in a relatively quiet manner from our six burner propane stove.

This hood works wonderful and matches perfectly with my other Cafe Appliances in my kitchen remode. Several vent settings, quiet, strong light...just lovely

Hood does an excellent job of clearing smoke and odors. Also is very quiet and gives off tremendous light.
