wish it was available in tall version, other then that it is perfect.

Nice jacket upper zipper pocket doesn't work at all was a gift from work. Just curious if anyone else has had the same issue with the upper zipper pocket. I'll find some use for the pocket if I have to pry off the zipper and just leave it as an open pocket

Absolutely love it. Live in eastern south Dakota. This winter has been brutal. As a feed truck driver and part time tow truck operator I spend plenty of time out of the truck in the weather. This jacket has been the best investment ever. Hi Viz keeps me safe and visible. When the description said waterproof and windproof I didn't believe it until It was 38 degrees blowing and raining. I was dry and warm. This jacket is thinner and lighter than my other standard Carhartt coats yet 10x warmer. I have only 2 small complaints. No pen loops. And the pockets where you'd put your hands aren't fleece lined so despite being covered from the wind they don't really feel that warm cuz they're the same material as the rest of the jacket "windbreaker texture". Other than those 2 small complaints I absolutely love this jacket and will definitely be buying them as gifts for my buddies who help me around the farm and in the tow trucks. There seems to be a defect in the design and/or stitching method used for this coat. See the accompanying photo. I purchased this coat twice. The first time I could not zip the coat closed because the offending flap was in the way of the zipper. I returned the coat and received a new coat that I can fully zip but only when I careful move the zipper by the “flap”. Otherwise the “flap” gets caught in the zipper. Beyond the zipper problem, I like the coat. It is not as warm as I’d hoped, but reasonably warm. With just a long-sleeved, insulated shirt; I was uncomfortably cold at an external temp of 20 degrees. With proper layering, I found the coat warm enough. The coat protects from the wind very well and is HIGHLY visible. I wore it inside my car one day and needed to remove it because it reflectivity was making it hard to see due to the glare created on the windshield. I can’t complain since I wanted a highly visible coat, but something to keep in mind depending on how you will use it. (I’d planned to use is while driving a school bus, but I need to tuck it out of site due to the glare it causes on the windshield). I find that it is very effective when blowing snow at the end of my driveway. My home is on a well travelled road and I noticed that vehicles were “giving me space” much earlier than I am used to.

Tons of pockets. Pockets for days. So far everything in em has stayed dry. Not the most breathable jacket I ever had but for the level of waterproofing it is definitely the most breathable jacket I ever had that still keeps you dry from the outside... Not sure how long the rain defender coating will last but so far it's working great and keeping me dry and extremely visible. Really great fit, super comfortable. I'm a tall guy(6'7"235lbs) and the xlTall fit is perfect. Usually the sleeves would run long so I was going to order a size down but I'm glad I didn't because the fit couldn't be more perfect. great for layering and I am super happy with it so far. Only been in use for 2 rain days so far but performed excellent and is comfortable enough to wear when it's dry and a little chilly too.

Really like the jacket it's well it's very comfortable very durable wish it had a large inside pocket and some pin holders on the outside maybe on the sleeve or something of that matter otherwise it's an awesome jacket

I have been extremely impressed with your jacket and have received many compliments from others on how it looks and feels. I wish I had it years ago. I am very pleased with it and plan on getting more jackets and jeans, work clothes from Carhartt.

I specifically went to this site for a good heavy coat I've always wore carharts 5 seconds after opening the package I could tell it was junk it's not warm feels like plastic definitely the cheapest feeling carhart I've ever owned

The cost was a gift for my son but he absolutely loves it. He specifically noted all the pockets were great and the jacket was comfortable. I personally appreciate him staying safe and with this, he will be seen.

I bought this coat as well as coveralls, long sleeve Tshirt, sweatshirt and 4 pairs of boot socks for my son for Christmas. He got a job as a photographer working outside, and I wanted him to be warm. The first bitter cold day he called me on his way home to let me know that he was warm all day. I've always heard Carhartt was a name you could trust for clothes to keep you warm, and I'm so happy it's true. My son is an adult but this momma still worries about him. I am grateful for the Carhartt brand.

Quick shipping and exactly as described. Warm and great quality. Most of the team love the jacket but we have a couple that are tall. The sleeves and the body are a little short on the XL and a Xxl would be too big in the body. Wish you had a long size option.

I've been holding out buying this for 2 years. Should have bought it long ago. Best money I've spent in a while.

It is a great jacket just one small problem, it runs a little too big, which I think is alright if you want to wear sweaters and other stuff underneath but overall it isn't the fit I was expecting. I am a size M in every other jacket but this one I believe a size S would be the perfect fit.

It's perfect. I'll be riding my bike to work and I wanted to help the cars see me better. Highly durable and warm. I work at a gas station and when I go in to the cooler to stock the drinks, it keeps me warm and comfortable. Triple stitched, break away hood, Glad I bought it. It is exactly what I needed.

Only had it a week and It's a great fit for hard work. Jacket is very warm and seems quite rugged. Fits well, works well and my new favorite cold weather apparel.

i don't know what the purpose of the stupid little flap near the top on the right is, but the zipper keeps getting caught in it. i either can't zip up all the way, or get stuck in the jacket because i can't get the zipper down. also beware, these are VERY big. order a size down of what you would normally wear, maybe two. i wear xl, so ordered an xl and this thing HUGE. if not for these two flaws, probably would have rated as 5

Fits the same as their sweatshirts so it's great to be able to wear layers under. It's high quality and seems well built.

I would like the option of the hood end wrap flap to Velcro or attach to the zip end of the collar. I don't like like flyers. Other than that, excellent piece of gear. Cuts the wind and rain well. I pair it with your lined, tall hiviz, Hi-viz hoodie, grey barclava , and watch cap. I also wear the similar hi-viz jacket come spring/fall. Would recommend to all outdoors. And finally found the online order website. Cheers
