Durable canvas style vest. Carhartt never fails

I bought this after another company took over two months to send a vest so I canceled the order. I purchased this vest from the carhartt site and it was delivered the NEXT DAY. Well a week later I actually laid my bike down at 50mph and slid 40 ft. This duck vest saved my back and somehow still looks almost brand new. I could not believe how little the vest was damaged after that. I am carhartt for life.

I bought this vest for his Christmas and it was the perfect choice. The fit, the look, the warmth, what's not to love.

Second vest like this ?. Wore the first one until it was falling apart. Loved it. So, I got a new one.

Color is true to what they show, insulation is warm but vest is not heavy like some of the jackets they make. My first Carhartt vest like this one was from a friend of my wife, her friends husband had died. He & I wore the same size. I have wore it for years more now & it's still fine but I've been using it for work around our farm so I decided to get the same one to use solely to go out in. Carhartt is one of the only companies that still makes quality clothing. I wore it to church this past Sunday & several men complimented me on my new vest. The only negative is it's very stiff when new. My friends at church said wash it a few times and it will be perfect like my old one. :-) I wish they made jeans! Jeans today are made of tissue paper, originally they were made of a canvas tent type material.

Ordered a tall size initially and was too bulky. Returned and the ordered a regular size. It is very short in the front. Not happy with the fit and look.

I love it fits like an old friend, just wish Carhartt would bring back other color selections

Bought this for my husband, in black, and it looks and fits him perfectly. He already has the tan one and loves it! I would recommend this for anyone who wants to look as handsome as him.. :)

Great vest. Good for in and out of truck, instead of wearing large jacket. Collar and pockets are warm and nice fabric.

This is the best vest I've ever worn. 10/10 would recommend.

Terrible fit. I am 6' 4" tall and I find it difficult to sit down while wearing this vest. I ordered a 2 XL tall. I really like the vest but don't like the fit.

I bought this for Christmas for my husband. I got him a large which fit fine with regular shirt but he likes to wear it over a sweatshirt or thicker shirt since he works outdoors. In that case , large was not the right size.

I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my son and he loves it. It fits perfectly and he said it is very warm and comfortable.

Great vest. Nice thick material. Quilted liner is nice. It does fit a bit more snug than other relaxed fit Carhartt products. I only intend to wear a hoodie or sweatshirt underneath in those in between months so it fits perfect for me. I'm 5'9", 165lbs and got a medium.

Very stiff at first, had to throw it in the dryer on low to soften. Extremely warm. Also very wide for a large.

If only it had a snap or zipper on the pockets. Other than that he loved it!

Fits very slim even though it is supposed to be relaxed fit. We went with a medium because the large was entirely too big but the medium definitely can't be dried or it will be too small. It is made well and looks great, just not excited over the sizing. We got it for our son who is 6' and 175 pounds and it is snug on him with a hoodie underneath the vest.

Love it, I've been wearing your vest and other clothing for 40+ years working as a union pipefitter/welder in the construction industry!! They have served me well!! Thanks for making such warm durable clothing!!! Highly recommend your Brand!!!!???????

This Carhartt classic replaces the vest I've worn and not quite worn out over 25+ years. It has the same durable and warm lining, the same heavy-duty zipper that never fails, the same wind-stopping collar. The only reason I had to replace the old vest is the tattered bottom edges that rub against my tool belt. A real winner. Six stars if possible.

Very stiff but that was expected. Fit perfect until I washed it?..shrunk to the point of being too tight. My other vest (a Carhartt vest is the same size, been washed multiple times and still fits very comfortably over a sweatshirt.

Their TALL is too tall for me.LOL. I'm gonna gift it to the tallest friend I have as it's too tall for me.

I'm a stocky male 5,9 230lbs and I got a large. Even with a belly it fits real good. Gets hot real quick and keeps warm even in the wind/cold. Build quality is what you'd expect from Carhartt. Yes it does come stiff but it breaks in. I use it for when I go riding on my motorcycle here in California. About 5 miles from the beach and 60deg. In the morning n I was comfortable with a long sleeve underneath. I do recommend this if you need a extra layer just to beat that cold

Such a good vest! This is the second one I've gotten. The first one lasted a year of heavy use until the zipper busted.
