I bought this mainly for backup power on our house as we are prone to Multiple day long outages. It started right away after minor assembly and adding oil. I have used this for powering tools in the woods and powering our house during a storm, approx 20 hours on the unit. It has started flawlessly each time and has more than enough power to keep most of our house running and keep our daughter warm! The unit is heavy so it's best to have a hand loading/unloading it. My only feature to improve it would be a gas gauge. Overall I highly reccomend this generator. This is my second champion purchase and have been happy with each.

Bought this generator during power outage due to storm in Aug 2020 from Bjs. It was out of stock all over CT and I travelled to MA to bought it. It was worth the travel. I used it for 5 days with few brakes in-between. Great performance and no issues during that time. Having this is having Peace of mind during power outages!!

I already have a Champion 100222 4000 starting watt generator and after its performance when we lost power for 5 days during the summer as the result of a storm, I knew that I had to buy another one because I was so impressed. I found this 9375 starting watt generator at BJs. I now feel completely confident that I can handle anything a winter or summer storm might throw us. With these two generators I will be able to power all of my house. I can't say enough about the Champion brand, their products continuously perform well.

Not too long a go I only swore by Hondas and Yamahas generators but about 1.5 years ago I got a new champion generator for my cottage (smaller version--3500W). The machine worked perfect and was reliable and the price I got it for was way less than what I was used to. Soon after I got the 7500W model as soon as it was on special at my local Canadian Tire. This one I use for my house as a back up power system, running with no problem 2 freezers, 2 big size fridges, 2 heaters (1500W each) and several regular Lamps. Of course, I could use more of its power even but the idea was just to keep things under control during outage.

Had this product hooked up to my panel for power outages. Works incredibly! With a newborn and harsh winters, we no longer have to worry about the power going out.

Ready for the next storm. Friend let me borrow his 3500 watt unit. Loved it. Not as noisy as the neighbors.

As mentioned we were in the path of Hurricane Laura.. and although our house faired well compared to most.. we're goin on 2 weeks without electricity and told it could be weeks more.... after many online searches and reviews we decided to go with this generator.. however our model is #100813.. it looks exactly like this one and seems to have all the same features.. we were fortunate enough to find 1 of 2 left in stock in the Houston area... as said we've been able to be back home thanks to the Champion Generator and give it all the remaining credit just after God... it runs great.. it's easy to maintain.. and though this is my 1st generator experience.. what more could we ask for....... before i close and to not be biased.. there are say 2 things i wish were a little different with our model... 1) that it had a fuel gauge - i'm refueling about every 7 hours.. 2) it's louder than my neighbors generators but then again i believe there's are smaller and definitely less powerful than this one... either way neither issue would be enough to have kept me from buying.... oh and if helps anyone.. this generator runs everything in our house at the same time including 2 120V portable ac's except for the electric cooktop.. wall oven.. or electric dryer.. these items are 240V and i can run 1 of them at a time by only turning off the 2 portable ac's... i'm also running off just the 50amp plug.. good luck to those that need an item such as this.. and prayers to the others that lived thru Laura

Excellent generator. Just purchased. Worth the money

This generator runs full time when we are at home. It runs our entire house and all its appliances. It always starts, it's reliable. It's super noisy .... don't like that It's hard on fuel.... don't like that We choose it though because we are really hard on generators and another Champion generator has been in use for us for about 12 years. We should get paid to test these units. It could be a new rating measure. Johnston tested and approved. Lol

We had 140 MPH straight line winds come through, pretty much destroying our midwest power infrastructure. Over 100,000 customers were without service in our immediate area, including us. So we went out looking for a generator. I usually do a lot of research for something like this, but that wasn't an option. Our first stop was the local Theisens and they had this generator in stock, as well as a smaller, dual fuel version. Being a Tim Taylor type, I had to get the biggest one (I haven't souped it up, though). I'm very happy with the purchase. This generator easily powered our fridge, freezer, and well pump, as well as a few lights, fans, small appliances (micro wave, toaster oven) and battery chargers. I'm pretty sure it could have powered our water heater, too, but I didn't have a heavy enough cord. We typically got 9-12 hours on a tank of gas, so we weren't pushing it real hard. We ended up running it continuously for 70 hours. It never hiccuped. Pros: * Comes with the oil you need, as well as a funnel so you don't spill it all over * Comes with a charged battery for the electric start * Started on the first attempt, every time * LED Display does a decent job keeping you informed what it's doing Cons: * It is heavy (specs say 199 pounds. I believe it) * It's not quiet * A fuel gauge of some sort would be useful, help give an idea when you need to refuel it. I was in the middle of cooking a pizza in the toaster oven when it ran out of gas. Kind of burned the pizza in the process of refueling the generator and restarting the toaster oven. I knew it was close, just not sure how close. The cons were mostly obvious when we bought it and certainly aren't show stoppers. Now I just need to maintain it so it's ready the next time we need it.

I purchased this generator in February 2020 and just set it up today. Hurricane season approaching! Set it up as per instructions and it started right up first try! Hope i don't have to use it but if i do i will be prepared!! Purchased Champion brand because of all the happy customers that posted positive feedback.

It ran my whole house with no problems during a 29 hr outage including my central air.

This generator is the perfect size to keep my family comfortable, when the power is out after a storm.

I RESEARCHED THIS PRODUCT FROM CONSUMER GUIDE, YOU TUBE VIDEO COMPARISON TO OTHER BRANDS, AND FINALLY ASKED MY ELECTRICIAN HIS OPINION. ALL CAME BACK WITH POSITIVE RESULTS. WE LIVE IN AN AREA WHERE ELECTRICITY GOES OUR FREQUENTLY IN THE SUMMER AND THE WINTER. WE FINALLY GAVE IN TO THE IDEA TO BUY A PORTABLE GENERATOR. AFTER MUCH RESEARCH WE FINALLY DECIDED ON THE CHAMPION MODEL #100704 WHICH HAS A RUNNING WATT OF 7500 ENOUGH FOR US. I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED A FEW OF MY FRIENDS SINCE THEY WERE AWARE I WAS LOOKING FOR ONE AND THEY ALSO ARE GOING TO PURCHASE CHAMPION.

I purchased this product yesterday after researching best generators on the market. Reviews were positive so champion was the choice I made.

I would have to say that I was a little on edge before this last storm that blew through the area. I've always wanted a generator just for peace of mind and decided to go with Champion just for the simple reason that I go on a lot of camping trips with friends and we swear by Champions product as we have never had an issue with any generator that was used for our trips. I haven't used it yet but am looking forward for when the time comes. I bought it at BJ's and would have to say that the price was attractive for the amount of power this thing delivers.

On one hot summer nite we had a plow wind come through our area. The power got knocked out at 10 pm. I borrowed my brother in laws Champion . One pull and the generator was producing power. Connecting the refrigerator and freezer was simple. The local electricity was not restored until 2 pm the following day . I returned my borrowed Champion and bought my own. In one power outage and saving food , this machine paid for itself. Everyone should consider buying one , especially if your power goes out in the winter and you have to keep the heat on.

I bought this generator to replace and upgrade my older Champion that needed a new stator. I mainly use the generator as a back up power source for when the power goes out to the house. This thing will be powerful enough to run everything I need in the house and still have a bit of room left over for other things. It starts up very nicely and quickly with the electric start. I have also tried it with the pull start and it only took one pull. I only have two complaints about this generator, minor things. 1) I wish there was a fuel gauge on the top of the gas tank. 2) I find the control panel is a little flimsy and should have been mounted better. It feels a little cheap and bends easily when trying to plug something in. If those two things were corrected, this generator would easily be a 5 star item. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Just bought this generator as an upgrade from my older, smaller 5500 watt Champion generator. I got ten years out of the old one, and it still runs great. Wanted a little more power, and electric start ensures my wife will be able to use it, if I'm at work for hurricane duties. Great generators and great values.

I purchased this generator during a local power outage due to spring storms. Assembly and start up took a total of about 30 minutes. Unit runs perfectly and quieter than I expected. I am very pleased with with this unit and customer service has been prompt to answer any questions.

The high capacity cord is a great bonus.

BOUGHT THIS UNIT IN HOPES THAT IT WOULD SUSTAIN THE HOME DURING THE LONG HARD COLD WINTER BLIZZARD NIGHTS, WHERE THE WIND HAS DROPPED SEVERAL TREES IN THE AREA AND KNOWINGLY THE HYDRO CREWS WILL BE HOURS BEFORE RESTORING POWER. ALTHOUGH A BIT LOUD WHEN PULLING LARGE WATTS, THE SOUND IS COMFORTING. NEVER BEEN LET DOWN BY THIS UNIT EVEN WHEN THE PARTNER ACCIDENTALLY TURNED ON THE ELECTRIC DRYER , COLD WINTER DAY AGAIN, WHILE SEVERAL ELECTRIC HEATERS WERE ON AS WELL. THE TOTAL LOAD , AS CALCULATED BY MYSELF WAS WELL OVER 10KW's. NO PROBLEMS. THE UNIT LABORED , TRYING TO TAKE THE LOAD, IMPRESSIVE IN ITSELF, UNTIL THE PROTECTION BREAKER ON THE FRONT KICKED OUT AS EXPECTED, PROTECTING THE GENERATOR FROM OVERHEATING FROM EXCESSIVE LOAD. ONCE THE DRYER WAS REMOVED, THE BREAKER RESET, ALL CONTINUED AS EXPECTED. THE CHAMPION 7500 WATT UNIT CONTINUED TO PURR ON AS IF IT WAS JUST ANOTHER DAY. IVE HAD THIS UNIT NOW FOR JUST UNDER TWO YEARS AND AM STILL IN LOVE WITH IT AND THE COMFORT IT GIVES. STARTS RELIABLY EVERY TIME. OH, AS SUGGESTED BY CHAMPION, I ALWAYS LET THE UNIT RUN OUT OF GAS IN ORDER TO TURN IT OFF. I ALWAYS DO THIS WITH NO LOAD SO THAT IT CAN COOL OFF AS THIS USUALLY TAKES ABOUT 5 MINUTES WHICH HAS PROVED PERFECT FOR THE NEXT START AND RUN. THIS HAS PROVEN TO BE A RELIABLE WAY TO BE READY FOR THE NEXT START. OTHER THAN THE THREE OUTAGES WE HAVE HAD FROM NATURE, I ALSO RUN THE UNIT WITH ABOUT 3 TO 4 KW OF LOAD , EVERY 6 MONTHS AND KEEP A LOG FOR MAINTENANCE AND RECORDS. I HAVE HAD NO ISSUES WHAT SO EVER WITH THIS UNIT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE NEEDING A GENERATOR WHO DOESN'T MIND A BIT OF NOISE. AS SEEN IN THE ATTACHED PHOTO, I MADE A SOUND INSULATED SHED JUST FOR THE CHAMPION GENERATOR AND OPERATE IT FROM HERE WITH THE DOOR PARTIALLY OPEN FOR COOLING. WORKS GREAT AND HELPS A LOT WITH THE NOISE DURING THE LATE HOURS.

I've never had a generator before but living in Central FL, you never know when the next hurricane will arrive. I bought this generator and found it easy to set up (install 2 wheels and connect the battery), and had it ready to go in less than 30 minutes. It started right up and put out 242v consistently. Hooked it up this week to my new transfer switch and I can see it's going to run everything I wanted to power during an outage. I don't hope for the next hurricane, but when it comes, I'll be ready. Thanks Champion for a great, well made product!

This generator runs all the essentials in our home with ease. Starts instantly and easy to move around. Front panel simple and well designed.

I had a 4500 watt champion generator for 5 years. It saved my butt more times then I can count. Starts everytime even when not used for prolonged periods. I rely on and love this company's products so much I just upgraded to a 7500 watt to power my whole house in an outage. I live in the country close to a lake so the power outages are frequent. Would highly recommend for all yours needs. Also love my champion chainsaw!

I recently purchased this generator to replace a much older 4K Champion generator. That generator was very reliable but after a 3 day outage last winter during an extreme cold spell I needed something bigger with more power to run additional heaters. My wife works at home so having power is necessity even during maintenance outages. I upgraded to a Stanley 6.5k all weather machine but it was very hard to start so we decided to replace it with this new Champion model with an electric start. My first impressions of the machine is that it appears to be well built like the previous model I owned. The setup was simple and I had it running within 15min. The electric start is so simple to use and the recoil isn't too bad either. I've only run it for the initial 5hr period with 3.5k draw it it didn't bog down at all so I'm very happy. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't have a fuel gauge and the oil dipstick is easily cross threaded. It took me 4-5 tries to get it correctly lined up which is disappointing. Considering my 10+ year old machine had a fuel gauge I was shocked to see it was missing on the upgraded model. Overall, very happy so far.

Purchased this generator for if/when the power goes out. Unboxing and assembly was a breeze and it so far seems to perform perfectly....can't wait for the power to go out now.

Awesome product. Unboxing was a breeze as well as assembly and start up...I highly recommend this or any other Champion product.
