Only worked first time with miracle grow plant food. Second time I went to use it, I filled the hopper with crystalline miracle grow plant food and diluted it in the exact same way but after walking around like an idiot for an hour, noticed the level wasn't going down. After disassembling and clearing out all the dried crystals in the holes in the concentration setting dial, the air hole on the side and removing and clearing the plastic tube and filter, it performed exactly the same....no syphoning of the solution. I confirmed there's a blockage somewhere inaccessible by blowing in the syphon tube while pressing the water inlet valve....the syphon was totally blocked. I figure after spending an hour trying to unclog it that was something I didn't want to have to do every time....so straight into the trash can after a single use like a lot of things these days it seems. incidentally when I transferred the miracle grow solution into the hand held watering pot, the crystals had fully dissolved. Suggestions to the manufacturer....if your product doesn't work with crystalline plant foods like miracle grow please say so in the product description or include directions on how to further disassemble to get the syphon working again. I suspect that's impossible and access to the part of the syphon that becomes blocked is not possible....hence the reason for my review. If you attempt to use this product with miracle grow plant food crystals, expect it to only work the first time. The cheap hand held watering can worked perfectly btw.

It is the only hose end sprayer on the market that I could find that lets you mix two different chemicals with two diffterent mixing ratios. All of the others are the "dial" type where you set the ratio and place the chemical in the contailer. Otherwise, the sprayer is verycheaply made. It does not have a nozzle with an adjustable tip. Attaching it to the hose is difficult in that the threads do not turn separately from the top of the sprayer. The whole top is cheaply made and the threaded portion will not hold up well.

Replaced my crappy old one (Ortho) and didn't realize how bad it worked until I purchased my Chapin. Wish I had done it sooner

The instructions on how to use it was excellent for I didn't know anything about spraying 4 gallons of insecticide mix without pulling out the milk jugs.

I actually bought this product as it was recommended to put down liquid fertilizer on my lawn. I had been using the empty spray container from liquid lawn weed and feed, that actually worked great. The Chapin has a fine spray pattern which would be great for a smaller area. If you have a small garden or lawn this would be fine.

Worked perfectly for my homemade aphid spray, which are now under control. Had bought another brand ( more expensive ) which clogged and didn't work. Great sprayer!
