Door installed and works as expected!

Replaced a 35 yr. old double-sized garage door with a Clopay on our heated garage where we entertain often, even during harsh Wisconsin winters. We're impressed with such improved insulation, and the Cherrywood steel is beautiful. Much quieter operation too. The technician who first came to inspect and measure (assuring a smooth installation) was professional and answered all questions. The installers were steller too, gave us maintenance tips, knew their product well. We highly recommend Clopay garage doors, very happy with our purchase. Packer game days in the garage are even more warm and enjoyable now.

Plain garage door but solid built. Insulated and thick.

Clopay HDP 20 Great look for a great price. This door I purchased because my old door fell apart first the extension springs snapped causing the top panel to rip apart. Clearly was not installed properly the springs shot across the garage could have killed someone. I made a decision to purchase this door here at Home Depot and I can say it was a great choice this model HDP=20-Classic Collection 8 ft. x 7 ft. 18.4 R-Value Intellicore Insulated Solid White Garage Door is great so far, I notice a better sound proofing and since I also installed this door the same time, I installed weather brushes purchased here at Home Depot by Action Industries Model# 109-0027. I can say I am very pleased with this door and the weather seals I installed, no more hot air coming in no loss of cool air escaping, before I could see light from the garage now its pitch-black perfect. CAUTION>> When installing extension springs take your time do it right make sure to install the safety cable thru the spring, remember when the garage door is closed those springs are under Extreme Tention so having that cable thru that spring could save your life if it snaps. When installing cable for the door take your time make proper adjustments after springs are installed properly raise door halfway if it goes up or down on its own you need more adjusting the door should not move when half open that's the proper balance. When installing seals top and sides I start with the top then proceed to the sides I make adjustments till I no longer see daylight from inside the garage. NOTES: I needed this door like yesterday but did not read the fine print so please keep these things in mind when you order. 1- It will take at least 90-120 days for the door to be delivered or you can have it sent to Home Depot and pick it up. 2- You can choose to customize the door before you purchase it. 3- You can choose either Extension spring kit or an EZ-Torsion spring kit make sure to choose one 4- Any missing parts contact clopay 5- During my purchase I choose to have the door shipped to my local Home Depot and I picked it up. I used my 2010 dodge caravan slid right in came in 2 Boxes and the rails exposed all held by straps all fit in minivan and door closed fully. The not so great but the company Clopay made it easy was. Missing or broken parts. I got home and unboxed the unit and found one top section dented missing screws and stretched springs. BUT I called Clopay they advised me to take pictures and send out the replacement parts. Summary Clopay customer support great Product great I love my purchase we are happy pictures coming soon

I love our new garage doors! They really improved our curb appeal.

Never had any problem with these until (inevitably) one was bumped by a car and 2 sections were dented. Although replacing individual panels is simple, trying to buy the replacement sections is a nightmare runaround between Clopay telling you to call Home Depot, and Home Depot saying they don't carry them and you have to call Clopay. The only option left was calling local repair shops that carry Clopay, but they all want to do the (easy) install and won't just sell the panels.

Insulated garage seems really well built with tight tolerances for better weather seal. Don't know yet how well it controls cold temps. until Winter.

Ordering was a long wait. We didn't mind. We understood with the pandemic, Shipping of parts caused the delay. The doors are wonderful. We did notice when unpacking the panels, the bottom panel weatherstripping was out of shape. We had hoped with warmer weather. That it would regain its correct shape. It did not. We are working and hoping for a replacement.

Steve was very professional when installing my door. He was on time, explained what he was going to do, and was very polite. I've been waiting to hear back on the warranty from the company, however since I paid more for it.

One notices the quality immediately and when you close the garage door, wow... what a difference.You can feel the difference in the garage. You know it is sealed shut.

The door looks great and the very clean look from the curb has people talking. The install and fit now gives me a well sealed garage ready for those Canadian winters.

The door works exceptionally well together with the Liftmaster motor. It was a major upgrade to our 21 year old door. We also love the black wood grain color.

Just installed one of five doors this weekend and to begin one of the panels had a scratch in the painted finish. Now if I were installing these on someone else's property I would have had to reject the panel, but it was for my own residence and it had already taken four months to get them in the first place. Second is it came with random door stop lengths which will not be allow me to install all doors without having to attempt to splice the door stop material in some form or another which is unacceptable. I will be reaching out to the vendor to rectify this issue, and will follow up with new ratings after interaction with them. As far as overall door quality I will be further examing there performance with a FLIR gun over the following days and throughout the year to see if the increase in R value is truly beneficial, and minus the scratch and some random overrun of foam from certain seams they seemed like a decent door compared to others we have installed.

I am very satisfied with my new garage door. The build quality is excellent and the insulation really keeps my garage warmer than my previous insulated door. Additionally, the wood grain finish looks great and compliments my home well. I would highly recommend this garage door to anyone.

Door itself is fine after having to have two damaged pieces (upon delivery) replaced. Looks good and is very quiet.
