[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this since my cars ground effect was coming off it kept hitting the door and pulling it off more the clips and to redo it was almost 100. I found these and gave it a shot it’s been on there for 8 months now and has not moved so yea these things are great. I got the black ones but their the same as these. They actually hold and the tape unless you peel the tab it’s not coming off. I’ll use these on everything not just pictured

The key to success with this product is using more strips than what the directions call for. If you use the minimum recommendation, more than likely your items will eventually fall. I usually double up the amount and maybe even more based on weight. If you are decorating with items which have skinny frames, just cut the strips down the middle. You can even use a combo of large and medium sized strips if needed for an item. I always use Command products when it comes to decorating college dorm walls and even the furniture for my college aged children. All spaces in the room are open for business when it comes to decorating. My move-in tool kit always includes: scissors, ample supply of command products, a level, and a measuring tape. NOTE the Brick-wall paper is yet another product which Home Depot sells! It's removable and will not damage the wall at all. NOTE that the curtains are hung with command hooks - which are especially made for hanging curtains.

As in other reviews I too have lost several picture frames because of failure to hold. Very disappointing and I too seek compensation.

I was amazed at the strength that these hooks were able to hold, and the best thing about this is when I have to move from this rental apartment there’s going to be no damage I won’t have to do any repairs! It’s really a great product!

The best thing since paint was invented. It’s actually a product that STICKS!! To its truth.

Used this product to hang a mirror that is approximately 5 feet tall, using four pairs (two on top, two 2/3 down per instructions) Followed all instructions precisely. However, when removing the mirror for the hour waiting period after initially sticking on the wall, the two bottom pairs would not unsnap, and instead it ripped huge chunks of paint off my wall. I believe it is because the mirror is so long, is is difficult to get the proper angle to unsnap the pairs. If you can, just use regular screws/hangers. If I had, I would have had far less damage, even though i followed directions precisely. Regular screws are much easier to hide/fix mistakes than these command strips. And they are far cheaper.

The other did too, that was, until I had to take it off the wall. Here's to hoping my dorm doesn't make me pay for damages.

I change my decor for every season so it is so wonderful to freely change all my pictures and decorative shelving every season without causing any damage to my walls. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite home project to date! I loved it so much I started the adjoining wall across the hall. I used the large picture hanging strips on the second wall. They were not readily available when I did the larger wall, but I sure wish they had been!! That wall was done with nails and took me 3 long afternoons to get everything just right. When I started the second wall, all I had to do was stick the strips together, peel and stick it to the picture and press it on the wall. Not measuring, no trying to get it to hang straight. It was perfectly spaced every time! I was finished with the pictures and plaques I had for the second wall in an hour. As you can see the second wall is far from finished. Waiting for a family wedding to take place to finish off more of the wall.....Everyone that walks into my house loves these walls. They are filled with family, friends, cute sayings, and you can just feel the love and sense of family in that room. It has definite WOW factor!!

Proud to display these my my new place. Don't want them damaged (falling off the walls) so that's why I'm using this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just downsized my home and moved into a great apartment. But I couldn't bear to part with many of my generations of family pictures. When I left my home- all the walls had nail holes. In my new home, everything- and I mean everything is up with Command hooks.Even heavy frames. Command hooks make it easier to attach to the frame, make it level, move it when you get a new picture,and of course take the hook off the wall!. They come in every size you could possibly need. They are wonderful in closets, pantries, bathrooms, etc. I don't ever want to leave my new home. But if I do, I won't ever have to worry about those nail holes.

I had to gone online looking for instructions that I could actually read but then couldn't find the product number on the package which I think is 17206-C. I foolowed the ones for a different product that looked similar. This is for a treasured print of me dirt-biking with my father, son and brother-in-law many years ago in Revelstoke, BC. It's in a plastic frame with a glass pane so I sure hope it doesn't drop and smash.It had a very tough to remove wire with clips into the frame that I had to remove first. Highly recommend you use a level to place it on the wall because you can't move it after it sticks. I was looking for the Command product that has a hook instead but couldn't find it.

If the picture is not level, you can remove the frame and change placement easily which is nice. When you want to remove the strips one day, you simply pull the tab down and they come off without any damage to the wall. This is a pretty awesome product. Each strip is rated to hold 4 lbs and be sure to follow the directions! The 12 pack is nice for a lot of wall hanging

I needed to hang some carved letters on a wall where we already have a hanger and did not want to introduce more 'holes'. The velco command hooks solved the problem. I was able to place the Velcro where I needed on the letters and then place the letters on the wall so the hangers were not visible. I am only giving a 4 star rating for now until I can test the removal of the command hooks after the holidays when I remove the letters.

I bought these excited to finally hang pictures in our home. When I removed the pictures to allow the tape to sit on the wall for an hour, like it said in the directions, it ripped the paint and plaster. I am so upset this happened. Not the experience I was looking for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will never use a hammer and nails again!!! I don’t need to thanks to Commands hanging stripes! Seriously easy to use. Place one on the back of picture, Velcro the other to it, pull off the paper, push it onto the wall where you are hanging it, and wallah- it’s hung! Oh no, a little crooked, detach the picture from the wall strip, reposition, and push it back on to the strip. I have had to do this many times before and the pictures are still hanging with no issue. Now let’s say you decide to put that picture somewhere else, no problem, no holes left, just pull the tab and it’s off the wall! Command strips have changed my decorating world!
