Quality GFCI receptacle. Installs easily over a standard blue electrical box, available at Home Depot, as shown in the DIY video. Heavy rains lately with no leaks as far as I can tell. Fairly low profile for an in-use receptacle. I would purchase again if needed.

The GFCI needs to be mounted in a box first.Then it is easy to mount and use this cover. Clear plastic front can slide forward to allow room to leave items plugged in and still close the lid.

The unit was easy to install.

So far, do good. My electrician installed it, but it seemed pretty simple. It has a removable plastic guard, so you can block water, depending upon whether you place it horizontal or vertical.

I have bought several of them. I like the way the cover expands when you have something plugged in. I also like how you can compress the cover when not in use and it covers all openings so no wasps can get in and build nests
