The kit was very easy to use. Highly recommend.

Switch DIDNT work during installation so my contractor had to strip the wire and now I have to buy a wire mold because of the exposed wire.

Restored and rewired a retro 1960's swag lamp. Worked perfectly!

The plug and the in line switch would not fit thru the links in the chain no matter which potions I turned them. Returned the item.

Bought this kit to hang a lamp via swag. The instructions state very clearly that the plug AND switch will fit through the links in the chain. They absolutely do not which renders the whole chain useless. I’m unsure if it’s a quality control issue, but I don’t particularly want to buy another to find out. After neither aspect fit through any of the links, we attempted to use pliers to see if we could open up a link enough. That did not work. We ended up having to disassemble the switch in order to thread the cord through the chain.

I need a cord with ground (3-prong) I’m sure it would be great for something else.

The only issue I had with this product is that the hook isn't as substantial as I think it should be. the metal is thin and bends easily.

I picked up this kit in the store. I could not tell what hard where came with it. The back of the package was in Spanish. I bought hardware just in case. It turns out that I needed the threaded tube for may lamp and the lamp socket.Home Depot is great about taking returns!

Very easy to install. Perfect for a ceiling fan install without an electrical box.

Includes everything i needed.

The power cord works. The hooks are a little flimsy since they bent under a bit of force while screwing them in, but they bent back and didn’t break. It’s a suitable setup for what it is intended to do.

The on/off switch broke after three uses.

I think of oil rubbed bronze as a dark brown, The chain appears black and clashes with the included hardware that is more the typical dark brown or oil rubbed bronze color. I was able to cannibalized the hardware for a wagon wheel chandalier project. No fault of Home Depot, but the kit is all cheap chinesium. For an acceptable color, I had to go with a competitor's "High Quality, Marked up due to the Gucci factor." swag chain that probably rolled off the very same assembly line..
