Fantastic upgrade to old dual bulb 48" fluorescents. These strips put out 30% more light, and its a really nice daylight color. Not the glaring blue green of other LED lights. I liked them so much I added 2 more above where the garage door retracts, and still spent less on 4 of these than I would for ONE new ballast that blew out on the fluorescent style. (led alone not putting mercury into the landfill with those bulbs)

What a great upgrade to my old 2 bulb T12 lights. Its 1' shorter, only has one strip and puts out 40% more light than dual T12. And the light is not that glaring blue green LED... its a perfect Sunlight color... makes working on things at night MUCH easier on the eyes that the dimmer, flickering fluorescents... Liked them so much, I'm buying 2 more to expand the light through the whole garage. And at this price, buying extras to have on hand if they fail in a few years.

Awesome light for a great price. I bought one to try out in my garage and went back and got 3 more of them to put in my garage. These lights have made it so much brighter now in my garage when out donig work. My friend likedliked them so much that he going to go buy them for his garage as well to replace the ones he has up. So I totally recommend you buy this light, it’s a great light easy to install and for a great great price. You would be a fool if you don’t buy this light...

The frame seems flimsy but at this price point I cant expect a robust build. The attached image speaks for itself. I wanted to shine light from the window to the yard. but with this strip light I cant do it as it gets too diffused. So I will be buying a LED work light like Husky or Powersmith. I will still use this LED for some other purpose. Heck even if it lasts for 5 months, I can spend another 15 bucks and buy another one. Cant complain given the price to performance ratio. It also does not get hot.

Bought because of price. Compared to other lights of equal brightness, this is the best bang for your buck. Using them as grow lights for feelings.

Great illumination of my work space in the garage! Only problem during installation was the location of the plug in the ceiling - I had to angle the light fixture, but still gives me great light over work table.

I needed a small light in an area of my basement and this is perfect. It gives off a lot of light and was very easy to install. I liked it so much that I bought 2 more and put them in my garage.

I bought one at first, then two more. Great lighting (equals about 200 W of incandesent lighting for only 30 watts) each and can be mounted on ceiling or just lay upside down on a bookcase or cabinet and the light reflects off the ceiling. Application idea: screw a light bulb to AC plug recepticle converter (couple of bucks) into a garage door opener (which is limited to 60 watt light bulb) and plug this LED shop light in and you get a lot more light when opening the garage door.

I bought this light to go under the overhang on my bench. I was tired of the big light in the overhead casting my shadow onto the bench. I can't tell you how great this little light is. It's super bright, and weighs nothing, and its dimensions are very small compared to it's actual dimensions, if that makes any sense. It's a great light, and I highly recommend it, especially considering it only cost $15.

Great light and great price! Bought 5 of them. Would be nice if it had an on/off switch but cant complain about anything including that. Would recommend for over toolbox, in garage, I even have one outside under the eve above the garage and lights up the whole driveway

The Integrated LED Shop Light is an excellent product with great features. First it is amazingly bright compared to old florescent 2 bulb shop light fixtures. It doesn't need a ballast and no more changing bulbs as the integrated LED will last many years. The other great feature is instant on...no more warmup or flickering....just brilliant light. The other plus is that these are very light weight...and easy to mount with simple screws directly to sheetrock or joists...it is very low profile which increases headroom. It also comes with a 5 ft power cord to which gives more flexibility for mounting location. I'm planning to replace all my old shop lights...and did I mention these are a great value too.

As a utility light in a basement, shop or garage this was an awesome deal. It was on sale for a mere $9.00. So for under $20.00 I got two for half the price of one four foot fixture. The light is bright white, which is what I personally like in my workshop. I hope this deal lasts because I will start replacing my four foot fixtures with these as the fluorescent tubes burn out. it is literally cheaper in the long run to replace the fixture than the tube.

This Commercial Electric shop light has the appearance of wanting to be the cheapest light available. The light arrived with one screw missing so the shroud was not attached on one end. The shroud was dented in at least two places. See pictures attached. ( Must have been thrown in the box before it was complete.) This light does not have an off/on switch anywhere so you either have to plug it into a switched outlet or a pull chain light socket. Or maybe they just wanted you to plug and unplug it over the work bench. The shroud needs to have a wider side panel to reduce the glare. I hung mine at about 9 foot level and the glare from it was annoying when looking across the room in any direction toward the light. Get yourself a better shop light than this one.

The Commercial Electric 3’ Integrated LED Shoplight is described as damp location rated, 3000 lumens using 30 watts @ 4000K (bright white), and a lifetime of 50,000 hours. The estimated yearly energy cost at 3 hours/day at 10 cents/kWh is $3.28. 6” hanging cables with eye-hook and hook for ceiling mounting, and plastic lugs and screws for direct ceiling or wall mounting are included. It has a 5’ power cord. The “bulb” is integral to the fixture and can not be changed. Dimensions are 2.4” wide x 1.3” high x 35.3” length, much smaller than a comparable florescent shoplight. It is quite light and thus somewhat flexible, so should be handled accordingly. There is no On/Off switch. Starts reliably to -4 F. I didn’t notice any damage to the box prior to opening, but once opened I saw that the light’s housing had been bent/buckled and the paint cracked; luckily not enough damage to cause the light not to function. Checking the box again, the squeezed/flexed area became apparent. The metal housing is lightweight and was easily bent back to its original shape with pliers and fingers. I will not discount my feedback due to this as the box and packing is adequate; just don’t stack large heavy boxes on small light boxes during shipping (Bad on you UPS). LED lights are bright. Depending on the style, they can also be called intense, or even harsh. While I can look at a florescent tube light without strain, I can not do that with an LED light of this type. So, I won’t be replacing my florescent 4 foot tube fixtures with a tube-type LED placed directly above my bench where I lift weights. To the side would be fine, outside of my direct field of view. This is not meant to be negative about LED’s, it is something to be aware of when selecting an LED fixture. It took less than 5 minutes to hang the light using the existing nails from the previous shoplight. I give it a thumbs up for the instant full brightness even in cold weather, unlike the fluorescent fixture it replaced. The light is brighter than the previous 4’ twin bulb florescent, and for the garage is quite nice. It lights the workbench and wall well. I use a power strip as an On/Off switch. Anywhere a shoplight type light is to be installed would be a great application for this LED fixture as long as it is not in a direct line of sight for reasons stated above. 5 year limited warranty. Made in China.

replacement for another one ok

This light worked well for 3-1/2 years, then stopped working. It's not repairable from what I can tell. We all bought in to LED technology under the false premise that they would last for many years. It's just another cash grab by corporate America.

I was disappointed after installing hanger brackets, from which to hang this over my work bench about 7ft, to ding this light fixture has no switch! This means you must fish around and plug/ unplug the light every time you use it. Not sure that’s even allowed with a UL listed appliance. The cord is short, 5 feet, so good luck getting it plugged in with the use of an extension cord. If they put a longer cord that will reach an outlet and a switch, it might be worth it. 30 mile drive to HD.
