I used the 3 ft Brushed Nickel Fixture Chain to permanently hang a couple of motion sensor work lights in a storage building. I used the fixtures to light my way during a recent renovation project. I misplaced the hangers and well, the lights aren’t much good lying on the ground. The chains have a chrome look and shouldn’t tarnish or rust. I used one chain per light fixture dividing each into half by opening a link at its seam. Each 3 ft. length has 28 links and is rated at 35 pounds. The links are not welded so working with them is easy enough. One of my chains did seem to shed plating without much provocation. My original intention was to attach the chains directly to each fixture’s support clips using one of the chain links but the links are large and the support clips do not provide enough room and have a rather odd hole pattern. I resorted to using S hooks and moved on.

This is a nice solid replacement for an old worn chain or for new installation. The nickel finish should give years of service. This is strong chain that can support up to thirty five pounds which can support just about any light fixture and many hanging plants. The only issue that I find is that since I don't have chain pliers you have to be careful when opening these with two pliers so you don't scratch it.

This is a pretty "no nonsense" product. It's actually what it says it is. The chain itself is about 36" long, brushed nickel and made very well. I'm sharing the product in a photo the day it arrived. I've got to say that it's made well the links are tight and looks to be strong enough for a fixture. I'm redoing my bedroom and I needed this to hang a candle chandelier near the head of the bed. I shortened the chain just by a couple of links and it looks great. I'd recommend this product, for sure :)
