I hooked the cable up and nothing happened. We called in the satellite company only to find out the connector on the cable had a short in it. Since it was already run I just left it rather than return it.

We recently cut our cable, as many people are doing now. Our computer consultant set up HD HomeRun for streaming and DVR service and we installed an antennae on our roof for 135 local channels. We are very pleased with the coaxial cable from Home Depot and our decision to discontinue Dish Network.
