Cable worked perfectly. I'm an Electrical Engineer. If you're having connectivity issues it can be worth trying new cables if the old ones have been stepped on, kinked, etc. and the Cat6 cables are more immune to interference than Cat5 or Cat5e. I used this to connect my cable modem to the rest of my home network. Internet bandwidth in the whole network improved immediately and complaints to "I.T. support" (a.k.a. Dad) about internet connection problems in our house completely disappeared. Home Depot's regular price on this was lower than the electronics stores and office supply stores in town.
