Good for your backup or travel tool box. Light duty use works just fine. It seems to me you can never have enough needle nose pliers. This affordable version is fine for occasional use or your backup set. I put it in my volunteer site tool box. You know how it goes, you are helping out with other volunteers and it can be chaotic and tools get lost. No big deal here. If I were a professional electrician, I think I'd choose a different type. But for the rest of us, it gets the job done on lightweight wire, especially the typical 12 or 14 gauge. One other issue, my set was a little "grabby" and I had to lubricate it to allow better movement. Thus, I took off a star. Made in China

Very good quality long nose pliers. Has a wire cutter built in near the joint. Good leverage for cutting tough wires. Very tough pliers that will not bend under heavy use. Long enough points to reach into tight places and grip what you need to hold. Nice rubber grips that make using these easy on your hands and protect from shock if you were to cut into a live wire.(which nobody ever does) Highly recommend this quality tool.

Commercial Electric 6 in. Long Nose Pliers were picked up because I miss placed my normal usage ones. Yeah, I know … I am an idiot. Well I couldn’t find it so I saw this and grabbed it. This is not a great set of pliers but it works and works well. It is not made of a great metal so it shouldn’t be used on a denser copper or metals. The company recommends nothing thicker the 10 AWG copper wire. The rubberized gripped handle is comfortable in the hand. It bends and twist coper well enough. I can recommend these set of pliers for an inexpensive tool to leave in the backup toolbox or in the car. If you do a lot of electrical work, spend a few extra bucks and get a nice pair of long nose pliers from Klein or Ideal.

These are great pliers for wrapping wire around mounting screws. It's so much easier to grab the wire with the pliers and wrap it around the screw when you have something that will fit in the small space. What I didn't like, and this is not the only tool that I have found it on, is that there are very sharp corners that will nick or cut your flesh. A light touch with a dremel type tool will knock those sharp edges off.

The rounded nose is perfect for creating wire loops to fasten around electrical wall switch terminals. This tool will go in my kitchen pantry tool box, which is the one I use most often.

This Commercial Electric long nose pliers is a good tool not only for the professional electrician, but also for the handyman or home DIY work. It is made of steel and feels heavy duty. The long slim nose is good for bending wire and allows access to small enclosed places. This pliers has built in wire cutting blades and large rubber coated hand grips for slip resistant handling. I find this design great for a variety of uses and I recommend it as an addition to any tool box.

The commercial electric 6 in long nose pliers is a sturdy, well made pair of pliers. I am not an electrician but will be putting these pliers to good use in my addictive hobby of tying flies, popping bugs and streamers for fishing. I tend to get rather creative in my approach to tying fishing baits and have most every tool I need to do so. However, there have been several instances that hackle pliers simply did not have enough torque to finish the job. These long nose pliers are just what I needed to finish out several of my baits. These baits are small and takes a tool that is long enough to reach exactly where I need to grip and attach the tiny parts. These pliers work great and are a welcome addition to my fly tying hobby!

The Commercial Electric 6 in. Long Nose Pliers Model # CE180831 is a great tool for the D.I.Y. or the Professional Tradesman. These small pliers are great for working in tight spaces. They have a long nose design and Heat-Treated blades for cutting up to # 10 AWG (American wire gauge) copper wires. The ergonomically friendly grips provide comfort when used for long periods. This tool is a nice addition to any toolbox.

Like the feeling of the no slip grip handle. Green handle makes it stand out and easy to find in my toolbox.

Compromise. Not every tool in the toolbox has to be top quality, especially if it is seldom used. These pliers are great if you need to reach into a tight space or hold a small, metal item with a secure grip. The serration on the tips is aggressive and the handle is comfortable enough for short stints. But the metal is fairly low grade and the wire cutter is only of use with thin copper. The handle becomes slippery once you get a little oil or sweat on them. If needle nose is your go to, go find a better set. If your needle nose always seems to have worked its way to the bottom of the tool bag when you go to look for them, this set will do.

The Commerical Electric 6” Long Nose Pliers have nice molded insulated handles that are comfortable to use. While I prefer my 8” long nose pliers for on the job, this tool comes in handy when a shorter length tool is more convenient. The tool, overall, has a quality feel to it and the jaws are nicely formed with “teeth” that easily grip wires (see Photo 1). The cutting edge is also well formed, with no gap, and cuts well. There is also a area below the joint with “teeth,” but I’m not sure what this is intended for (see Photo 2). While you can squeeze something with it, it certainly is not a crimper. This tool is a decent value if you're looking for a 6” long nose pliers.

I used for two weeks and they bent when I placed them in my tool box. Don’t buy it it’s not worth it.

People keep borrowing my long nose pliers and not returning them. So I decided to buy a quality pair and hide them. Nice well made, perfectly functioning pliers. Already used them and they are just what I needed for numerous household jobs.
