After installing it I noticed that even when turned off, the lights would periodically flash back on momentarily at a low light level. This is annoying when the kitchen area is otherwise dark. I returned the power supply for a new one. Same problem again.

The kit only took about 5 minutes to cut to size and install and works as advertised so far. The colors are fun for parties or calming a crying baby. Only downside is no adjustments to the White level. It would be nice if you could adjust between the white and yellow or orange, but the really cool white light level made my countertops look like an aquarium.

Can not connect this product with the connectors that are supplied to another set of same lights. The product is not easy to work with. Returning the other units.

This worked very well for my under-cabinet lighting..! Color changing options are just too good! The adhesive back really stuck to the surface well. Only think I would have in my "wish list" is some more clamps to hold it at corners. Great product with good features, at affordable price.

If you don't have impeccable eyesight and perfect fingernails, forget about it. Peel the rubber strip back and it bends the light strip. This bend breaks the internal wire. If you use a utility knife CAREFULLY you will nick and break the internal wire. Since the rubber is 5x the rigidity, guess which will bend? Yep, the light strip, and will break the internal wire. If you pushing the light strip into the connector without fingernails will cause the strip to bend, breaking the internal wire. See a theme yet? If you do manage to get the connections all in happy, you wiggle the FACTORY clip and IT's connections are loose. This is my second set, 12-15 re-cuts and connections, still no go. Install as is, do NOT try to cut and connect.

lights are great, just what i wanted, but when there is a power failure and then comes on these lights come on, so if you are not home when this happens the lights are on until they are turned off.

I needed some sort of controlable LED lighting to put under a block of acrylic to refract a design that was sanded into the block. It worked just as I hoped and my brother loved the gift. This was the only place I knew of that might sell this in their store and I was very pleased with their online ordering and guided assistance.

This was my fourth set of these lights that I have placed in strategic places in the basement I have just finished remodeling with a theme of a Civil War era "Tavern". These light strings are great for putting behind and under low lying overhangs built into the walls. I also have one under the liquor shelf and this one was to put under the bar top to reflect down on the bar cabinet. I keep them all set to the blue shade which really gives the entire "Tavern" a cozy glow without being too bright to interfere with the mood. I truly hope that Home Depot never stops carrying these. The ones I have range in age from 1 month old to 2 years old. No problems and really easy to install!

Pleasantly surprised with the ease of setup and use. Works great. LEDs are bright and steady. Will probably buy another set.

The lights themselves and variety of colors are nice enough, though the white light is a bit harsh and cold, even when dimmed. This product would probably be ok if no cuts and connectors are needed; however, my application required two cuts and two connectors, which couldn't have been more difficult to install. I followed the directions as written, but the smeared adhesive from peeling the tape back at the point of the cuts caused interference to the circuit, resulting in some bulbs not working and erratic color changes. I returned the whole thing for a refund.

We used this for under vanity lighting in the bathroom. The product works perfectly. The light color choices are great and the dimming feature is nice. Easy to install.

The connectors do not work on this product so more than one string can not be put together. It is a huge waste of time to try to get this product to work correctly. We tried 6 kits to get two to work together and finally gave up. We purchased an amazing string of lights from Costco that is twice the length, half the cost and offers better warm light than this product.

The real problem with this unit is that the available connectors are extremely hard to work with, and quickly loose connectivity causing random dimming, and outages downstream of the strip they are connected to. The lights themselves are fine, and the controller works fine. Cutting the strip at its designated places is not hard, but connectors connectors connectors - connectors are junk.

Great for the kids room! Taped to the back of headboard in both of our kids rooms.

These perform the same as the Sylvania Mosaic system for a lot less money. A great value

I ended up returning this item and buying one that supported 24 lights per transformer. The one that had 8' would not support connecting 2 additional 8' sections.

If you want to light up a hard to reach space, or add a bit of color to an area lacking interest, these lights are the best way to go. I installed these in our candy cases and they give a renewed interest into the products being displayed. Installation took all of 5 minutes or less per case.

I love this product I am a licensed electrician. These are great for all kinds of lighting solutions, however, they are difficult to splice together. I also have a problem losing the red light spectrum in sections causing color problems. For Bright White Light they are great.

I concur with those reviewers who struggled to splice two sections together. It's impossible to do so without damaging the delicate copper terminals when you remove the clear rubber coating. If you're able to use the full length of the light tape without trimming or splicing, the product should work fine. If not, look at those products which come in precut lengths with factory applied connectors.

This is a great product if you don't have to cut it and connect it. The plastic coating over the LED's is, per instructions, to be peeled back by hand. I tried for 3 hours to get it to work but the green color wouldn't connect. I'm an electronic technician by trade and this product beat me.

A great product. Works perfectly and couldn't be easier. I wish the product included more than 2 extentions to allow more flexibility in layout and apparently so d o other people. At least twice when purchasing at the store, I have had to return the product because people have robbed the box of the extention wires. Make sure the box has all the parts and if so this is one of the best LED light buys I have found.
