Bookcase is great! The company not great! They ripped us off for the cost of 4 shelves and shipping - $97 Sent a check, they cashed it. Said it never got there, We have the check.

Easy assembly until putting on the front pieces, there are gaps and they were not pre-drilled. I found the backing disappointing light compared to the heavy wood of the shelves.

I picked up this bookcase at my local Home Depot before the promised deadline date. I assembled the bookcase using the enclosed directions, which were adequate but not great. Not only were all the part there, as expected, but there were a few extra screws thrown in. The bookcase itself is an excellent piece of furniture. It is sturdy, looks good, and with the adjustable shelves, functional. We expect to enjoy it for many years.

Easy to assemble. Has a thin wood veneer so differently looks real wood for the cost. Shelves are reinforced so they can support the 100 lb. load as advertised

At 85 Pounds this is a very solid Bookcase. The finish matches my other Oak Furniture nicely. If I needed another similar size Bookcase I'd buy this one.

Everything except the back was pretty good. The back is a piece of crap paper covered cardboard that once installed makes the unit look cheap and trashy. If you care about appearance, don’t buy.

This version of the shelves is slightly different in construction from earlier models we bought, but I think it is improved. Like that the back is screwed down. Much stronger than thin nails.

The bookshelf was the most difficult self-assembled item I have ever put together, and I live on IKEA. The kit was missing pieces, holes were not drilled everywhere that the instructions indicated that they would be, both of which compromise the stability and durability of the bookshelf. I purchased the more expensive bookshelf because I needed something that would look nice in my office, but this bookshelf is a complete disappointment. There are obvious niks in the wood, the pieces do not fit as well as they should, and I am convinced that the only reason it is still standing, is because I have squished it between a wall and another piece of furniture. I had to keep the bookshelf due to time constraints, but hopefully I can save someone else from making the same mistake.

As advertised there was minimal odor from stain finish. I'm very satisfied with this product.

These are made with zero qualtity. assembly is of poor quality and parts. finish can be better. the only good thing about them is they located in an area that no one will see them and I'm hoping they won't fall apart once they are filled with books. I would never buy them again. I am in the finishing business and unfortunatly the client didn't want to spend a lot of money. Still not worth what was paid.

A quality product. Very easy assembly. This bookcase is a quality piece of furniture. The only downside is Home Depot would not include this on free shipping and shipping charges were $ 55.00
