The only downside is I can’t reach them to roll down without a step stool. It would be helpful if they had a rod hanging down to pull them down and put them up

It's OK
The bottom rod is plastic and in the wind, it bends, so we replaced the rod with a 1/2" metal rod - problem solved!

I have now purchased 2 of these for an exterior use. Full sun. Neither one would roll up even after attempting to adjust.them as the instructions indicated. Both are going back. Don't waste your money!!!

Good but not great. The shades were advertised to block 80% of sunlight. At best these shades block 50%. It’s better than nothing but not quite what I had hoped for.

We really like it. It was a little challenging to hang the first one, especially since it was on our 2nd floor porch and the outdoor kitchen cabinet was in the way. But we got it up! And we really like it!

This Is a great shade for the money. Just what we needed for our deck pergola. This one is a replacement because after 5 years with the first one it did fade and lose the rewinding ability. But still worth every penny.

Went to all the work of installing a bracket to attach the blind to and you couldn’t pull up or down. No tension, piece of crap.

this was a replacement for 1 had for the past couple of years. Sadly this one is no where near the quality of the 1st. It too is Coolaroo brand but fabric in thinner.

Exactly what I was looking for, I now have one on each side of my north facing awning.
bolted on like it was made for it.
only issue is the plastic rod through the bottom could be a little more rigged for ties.

This was the worst product every made by Coolaroo every made. Terrible design. No way to secure it to the rail. The ratchet didn’t work properly. Wasn’t designed for outdoor use. I own four outdoor Coolaroo products and work great. Don’t buy this you will regret it.
