These shades saved our back porch time! The west sun looks right into our screen porch but it’s too hot to sit out in afternoon but these shades help solve that problem immediately after installing them! Yay! Thx

Easy to install and works perfect for my patio area!

Easy to install. Really blocks the sun hitting the window. Help keep the interior of my home from heating up excessively than before. A/C runs less often now. It also blocks someone from seeing through window when curtains are drawn, yet I can see relatively out of the window without difficulty.

The shade itself is fine but being 10’ long they should have made the bar heavier duty because it sags in the middle with the bar being so weak. I wouldn’t recommend the 10’ but maybe the shorter ones would be fine

Easy to install. I was able rotate the crank mechanism to be installed on the left side and one on the right side of my patio roof. Turned out great for me. I highly recommend this sun shade. Took me about a half hour to install after getting the ladder out, marking the lines and screwing the brackets up and then popping them into place. Make sure they Click in Completely though ! Then you’re made in the shade.

We put four of these shades up. They keep the heat out & let the light in. Worked perfect for us!

I recommend these shades for any house with sun exposer. We put four on our house with extreme sun and cut the heat index by 90%

We purchased a total 3 of these blinds for our hardtop gazebo and they work great! They were very easy to install and do a superb job of blocking the sun. My better half loves how they're easy to operate and the extra privacy they offer.

I have two 6' Coolaroo shades on my home and two 10' shades on my gazebo. The two on the gazebo have endured significant wind and rain with no signs of distress after 10 months of use. Installation by one handy person with a small ladder is possible.

Excellent for providing shade when sun is high. Not so good when sun is lower. I have read some reviews about the pole. The manufacturer should make this. I used a cheap cordless screwdriver with a long nut and an aluminum rod with a hook on the end. Makes raising and lowering a breeze. Plus the rod can be any length.

Purchased and installed the Coolaroo sunshade yesterday. This product is better than advertised. While it is large (at least the 120 inch), the installation is a breeze. You screw in the rod holders and then just snap it into place. On back to back days in Oklahoma it has been hot, and our backyard faces the west. The sunshade reduced the temperature on our porch at least ten degrees! Listen, stop overthinking, and buy this product!

I have had the shade for about two weeks now, works like it supposed to, I like the crank for raising and lowering it. Yes I would recommend this shade.

The Coolaroo shades are the perfect accessory for our new deck and pergola. Easy to mount and excellent quality.

I bought 2 of these for my outdoor screened in patio. They are very nice. The only issue I have, is they are hung up high to block the sun, and the handle isnt long enough. I need a step stool each time to open and lower. Since the handle has to be raised to make it a crank, you lose 3" also, so its even shorter. Other than that, they are nice, and block the sun.

Its great for off the shelf. Seems to be well made. Time will tell.

I purchased 2 of these shades to install under our new deck. They complement the deck color perfectly and allow us to see through them while still blocking out the sun. They definitely cool down our patio. I also love the straps at the bottom that keep the shades from flying around in the wind.

I love these shades. Well-made and easy to install. Lightweight design. I purchased 2 shades. My only issue is the price and I opted for free shipping which took 19 days. They apparently came from the Coolaroo factory in California.

We ordered three of the Coolaroo Montecito cordless shades for our west-facing covered deck off our kitchen. We've had them for a few weeks & I'm pleasantly surprised. Installation was very straight forward and didn't take much time at all. They feel solidly built, are easy to operate, and have made such a huge difference for both our deck and our kitchen. Great value & would purchase again.

Ordered online for an in-store Pick Up last Friday afternoon. St Mathews store had it ready in an hour and the pick up was easy. Saturday morning install took more time gathering up the tools and ladder than it did to measure, then drive 8 screws into the brackets & hold-down bungies. Easy Peasy!

The early morning sun heats our eastern windows up to 130°, with the Coolaroo shades the same windows heat up to 90°. This drop of 40° keeps our home cooler for a longer period of time and reduces our AC loads.

I installed the Coolaroo shades on almost every window outside my house, the extra layer helps lower the heat coming through window, the blinds and curtains do the rest. I installed shade on my Master bedroom 2 years ago, hasn't fallen once, shade is up 365 days a year, a few shades stay covering windows when others do not. To the people who cannot install the shade properly, then shade falls down after installation, not the shade engineering. You don't understand the big picture. Not the shade, it's the installer who cannot understand basic directions to install the shade properly. Shade should be tight (meaning not much of a gap or none at all) on both ends after install or shade may fall. More than one way to install, try installing shade bracket on one side, then with the help of another or install solo like me. Hold Shade up in the proper position, then mark holes with a pencil mark for next bracket install ensuring shade roll is right up against each bracket, then completed, enjoy. The people who complain about the shade is difficult to roll up, either installed the shade incorrectly or installer should work on building arm strength.

The perfect fit for what we were looking for: good quality and color selection at an affordable price. Pretty easy to install, even on my aluminum roof beams. Plenty of shade with the 95 percent option, while still able to see rough outlines in the distance. Order arrived quickly and we’ll packaged. Hoping these last as long as my neighbor’s Coolaroos (9 years and going strong.) Overall, extremely satisfied!!
