This cooktop looks great. It took a few months to install it. Installation was fine but it quickly looks like something I’ve been using for years. Black burner covers - peeling you can see the metal beneath. Ignition- takes a few tries. It will light, I turn it to the desired flame size, release the knob, flame goes out. Repeat. Ring around the burner- has rust spots I can’t clean off. Gas line below the cooktop goes straight down so the drawer doesn’t close all the way. I’m disappointed.

Purchased this new cooktop for our kitchen remodel and we love it. Easy to install and works great. Highly recommend!!

Ordered the 30 inch 5 burner cosmo gas cooktop to replace an exsisting maytag electric cooktop. Stove arrived quickly and was well packaged. Measurements we as stated in the product description plus we were able to keep the drawer underneath the stove because the 2 inch cooktop height as you can see in the attached picture without the drawer in Installation went well. The burners needed no adjustment for the proper flame that came preset from the factory. For the money this appears to be a real value.

It was easy to install looks great so far so good no problem :-)

This product is obviously made by amateurs. Cosmetically the Cosmo COS-850SLTX-E cooktop looks good. Build quality seems to be okay, nothing special, but decent for the price tag. The stainless steel color is a little on the dull and darker side, slightly a bronze hue, looks/feels more like aluminum than stainless steel. The negatives. 1. The instructions are absolutely atrocious. Makes no sense, is very broad, loosely translated. At times I was wondering if I got the wrong instruction manual in the package, that's how bad it is. You are better off looking on youtube for how to install a cooktop. 2. The idiots who engineered this put a STRAIGHT electrical plug instead of a right angle plug. This makes it impossible to plug the unit in to the outlet on the back wall behind the range, which happens to be the MOST common spot for these cooktop power outlets. I had to spend $3 and buy a right angle (grounded) extension cord. 3. The foam lining that slightly resembles a gasket but I have no idea where it goes because the instruction manual makes no mention of it, does not fit. If it is supposed to go along the bottom housing of the cooktop, it is impossible to use it there because there is no flat surface to attach it to. 4. Scratches VERY easily. I barely nicked the surface with my tape measure and now there is a scratch I can't get out. 5. Customer support is a joke. Their office closes at 4pm PST! What business closes at 4pm? My unit ignition is not working and there is power to the unit. I'm not getting any clicking on the ignition. Very frustrating. My only option is to fill out a support form on the Cosmo website. What a joke. Overall, I thought I would give this brand a try based on the reviews and looks, and I am incredibly disappointed with my purchase. Save yourself the headache and get a different brand, even if you have to spend a little bit more. I have never been so frustrated and furious installing a simple appliance.

The stove top is not what I expected. First of all the five ignition buttons are chrome not stainless, there is a delay with the ignition. The burners stain easily and not easy to remove, the black grid is not easy at all to clean.

Just bought and installed this cook top a few days ago, and I love it. It is very powerful and cook very fast, and it looks great, just what I wanted it.

I haven't gotten to use it a whole lot yet since we just had it installed when the plumber ran our new gas line, but I absolutely love the look and use of this stovetop. The big burner on the far left is soooo great for stock pots or large Dutch ovens. Or take the circle ring off and it's great for griddle pans. It lights beautifully! When I ordered it on line, I was worried about the knobs. I like a high quality knob... I was not disappointed! These are very nice and easy to clean. I had electric stove top and we were upgrading our kitchen, so when plumber put the gas line in, it only took him moments to install the stove. It is SO easy to clean! I am so happy with it!

This is a great cooktop. I love the look and the five burners for such an economic price. It looks very elegant in my kitchen and no one would guess how much I paid for it. I was kind of skeptic about it at first, but after reading other reviews before purchasing, I knew that I was getting a good product. Very pleased.

My wife and I are very happy with this Cooktop. The heat output is great and we like the overall design with the big burner to the left instead of the center. That way we can use the other burners when cooking on the Wok. Wanted to see in person before buying but ordered site unseen knowing we could return it if we were not happy. But we love it!

Bought this for our daughter to replace her old one. Installation was easy. Compliments the other stainless steel kitchen appliances nicely. Best quality, looks, features for the price.

I am loving this gas stove top. It's very easy to clean and very fast to cook. I can't find any bad things about it.

Mom just loves her new gas cook top, easy to install, well built, conversion to LPG went well and there were no adjustments needed, it just worked!

Very solid cooktop. Decent amount of room for pots to fit on all burners. I don't like the fact that all of the burners spark at once when I'm only lighting one of them, but other than that it is working well.

This item blew up when testing burners, making a loud boom throughout the house and nearly setting the installer aflame, had to call the gas company emergency line. They put the blame on the stove top leaking gas as the cause. Very dangerous situation.

I am pleased with the ease of using the dials on my new gas cooktop..They are easy to adjust to the heat needed for the food in pots.

It cost $55 to get the kit, to switch it over to LPG. Should of come in the kit, or at least free when it was ordered.

I am waiting to have it professionally installed, but it appears to be of good quality and design. I would definitely recommend it.

It's good. But lot bulky than expected. Also the grills are too large and sit way in top

Started gas leak after install. The replacement order delayed and went on without stove and cooking for 3 weeks. The installer told me hat it's a cheap part and poorly tested product.

Works great. Easy installation. Price perfect.

There was a gas leak at the regulator site and had to return it.

6 months ago I purchased this cook top I had it professionally installed. The burners are now peeling so gold color shows through. I only ever washed them off with warm soap and water. It is almost like the coating that they used on the cook top burners is not sufficient for the heat the burner makes. They are peeling. When you buy a cook top and have it installed it is an investment you do not change it out every 6 months. This is trash . Do Not Buy IT !!!
