Look, has been having a plenty of light the whole time. I been putting water every week and has been dying since they one. What a wasted of money.

We love these plants

Love it. Very cute plant but, the pot it came was too small and it didn’t have a drain hole at the bottom. So, I’m not sure if it will survive for long time if I don’t change it into a bigger pot with a drain hole. I will change it later into a big pot.

Arrived quickly and in great shape. Would not hesitate to buy Costa Farm plants again. Happy customer!

I hate writing bad reviews especially during these terrible times. But I thought this might be helpful for people considering buying this plant. I ordered it online from Home Depot/ Costa Farms and it arrived infested with gnats! I didn't see them fly out the box or anything when I opened it, but I put one sticky yellow butterfly trap in- for safety/just in case- as I do with any new plant. So glad I did! so many gnats were caught! I've never seen anything like it. I bought sticky sheets and covered the whole plant. More Gnats! Kept changing sheets and adding new ones. I treated with Hydrogen peroxide (1 part 3% with 4 parts water like I saw on the internet) ---> more gnats! Yesterday I mixed 1 part 3% with 1/2 part water! meaning- I mainly watered the plant with hydrogen peroxide! I put new sticky sheets on and today I have at least 10 new gnats caught on the sticky trap. I think it's time to let the plant go :( I'm just glad it didn't infect the rest of my plants as almost nothing was caught on their traps.

The tree I received was beautiful and healthy! I was a little worried when I received it as the box definitely had some damage, but the little guy was perfect. It has bright, green leaves and a gorgeous S-shaped trunk! It stands 20 inches tall from the bottom of the pot to the tallest leaves. Couldn't be happier with my ficus bonsai- thank you Costa Farms and Home Depot :)

Arrived well wrapped, healthy, and looking exactly like the picture. Very happy with this bonsai.

It is what I was expecting

My first time buying a plant from Home Depot on line ~ I am extremely impressed ! Quick delivery, perfect packaging. Plant arrived in beautiful condition. Quality of plant was amazing ! Would definitely order again.

I have always wanted an indoor bonsai tree so this year (2019) I finally decided to buy one for myself. I checked out several websites who sell Bonsai trees online. I decided to go with Home Depot because I liked their pricing and selection best. I am happy to say that my Ficus Bonsai tree arrived (1-day) ahead of schedule..YAY! Okay...now on to the "fun" stuff! WOW!! When I opened the box there was my bonsai tree fully intact! KUDOS to the person who packed my tree! They did an AMAZING job!!! Thank YOU! :) YES, my tree is a complete match to the picture and description shown on the Home Depot website. It is just simply beautiful -- so green and healthy looking! I adore the black pot that my tree is potted in. It is extremely sturdy and a neutral color as well. I have to admit that initially after I placed my order online I was worried that my tree would be really tiny (too small). However, I love the size of it because it is perfect for my space. I was also worried that my tree would possibly arrive damaged, sick or even dead. No, no, no to all of those things. My bonsai tree has exceeded my expectations thus far!

Beautiful plant, very well packed. Nice thick, full tree for the size...Doing good, already has new growth. Secret to success is, don't let it dry out. Bonsai's have a small root system and little soil, important to not let dry out....that and good lighting you'll be on your way!

Sent to my Mom as a birthday gift and she loved it! Packaging secured the plants. Delivery was fast! Favorite feature is the trunk of the tree, very unique shape. We LIKE everything about it! Received it October 27, 2017 Product exceeds our expectations!

The tree came upside down, I tried to " assemble" it in to the pot. It lost almost all leaves. I still hope it will recover.

No one at the store knew what this plant is. There is only a tag saying Bonsai. My local store had 2 kinds. The ones with the thick roots is a Ginseng Ficus. The other one with an "S" shaped trunk is a Tiger Bark Ficus. These are very slow growers and do not like direct sunlight. Outdoors shade and suitable for indoors near a window. These are very durable plants, extremely hard to kill. Soil should be moist but never wet. And they must be repoted as the gravel on top is glued in and water does not penetrate. Repotting does not cause this plant any stress and it comes back quite fast. These are a good by as other nurseries sell them for as much as $75. I grow and sell Bonsai and I bought all my local store had....17 plants and I am waiting a new shipment to come in.

Plant is nice and healthy, but was expecting it in a ceramic pot not plastic pot.

It’s almost dead now , can’t figure out what exactly is going wrong.

I live in the Northeast and noticed they added a heatpack around the pot to protect it from the cold. It was still warm on arrival. This was way above and beyond what I expected. The plant was carefully packed and had new growth on it. Was larger than expected.

This little tree was packed with great love & care, surrounded by heat packs & protection. It even included a little “peace” stone. Great job!

The bonsai tree is great and I am very pleased with its appearance. If Costa is going to deliver fragile plants to people's doorsteps during the winter, they should call before just leaving the box outside.

The plant came infected with disease and died a week later.
