Unreliable. Bought a 6-pack of these bulbs. Within 30 months, 4 of them have failed and the remaining 2 now flicker occasionally. Claimed life: 22.8 years at 3 hours per day. Actual life: 2.5 years at 4 hours per day. Very disappointed. Bought these for reliability in hard-to-reach fixtures where it's a pain to change bulbs. HD has so far replaced them with more of the same. These now appear to be discontinued - no surprise there. Not sure what I'll get for the next replacements.

Used once on a clamp lamp and it overheated and turned off after 25 minutes, wasn't able to use it at all, don't buy this expensive piece of creep!!

One of these has already failed in a little over 1 year. Per the warranty, they are supposed to last 10 years at 6 hours per day and 7 days per week. Not even close even if I kept it on 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. And to even have a chance at getting a new one or refund from Cree you have to send the useless bulb back with proof of purchase and register receipt. Thought I wouldn't have to change another bulb for at least 5 years. Truly disappointed.

These LED bulbs are great. The 5000K color is like daylight, they use low voltage and best of all, they are made in the USA.

These are sturdy, well constructed light bulbs that we use for every day use in our home, and they have a competitive price compared to other LED bulbs. They are a little heavy compared to other types of light bulbs, but that has not caused any issues for us.

The LED bulbs are great but did not come ina 6-pack as advertised. You provided 12 individual bulbs shipped in 12 individual boxes - really stupid. The boxes could have easily held 3 bulbs each! One point off for the shipping - I had to help the UPS guy carry the boxes in from the truck.

The shipment arrived ahead of predicted delivery date. The bulbs are very bright--75 watt equivalent for sure. A nice feature is the shatterproof coating on the glass portion of the bulb.

I had the bulbs installed in my ten foot high kitchen ceiling and am very happy with the bright, crisp light that they produce. The long life of the bulbs is a great factor as well!

I have been waiting for a good replacement bulb for the incandescents of old. The compact florescents were not adequate. These new daylight LED's are just the kind I have been waiting for. They conserve electricity but still provide good light.

These lights put out much more light than the CFL's they replaced. The base gets a bit warm, but the bulb part doesn't. Also, the covering on the bulb is kind of sticky and I think it will be a dust magnet and I'm not sure how to clean them off. I really do like these lights. I only wish they were less costly.

These light bulbs give a lot of light, the bulbs have a nice design and they use litlle energy. I still think they are quit expensive so I hope the price will go down in the furture so I can change all my lights.

Great engergy saver, light color is a little on the blue hue side.

We ordered a six pack for our new chandelier and found they were too white and bright for glass globes. We have put them all in shaded lamps around the house and ordered 75w equivalent SOFT white for the chandelier.

These are not soft white. Very bright. Just like regular light bulb. Wish they would stock in stores. No more cfls for me. Order the soft whites if you want softer lighting. I just like these in kitchen and bathrooms.

These Cree bulbs have become the LED bulbs that I've come to rely on. Performance of LED replacements for incandescent bulbs can vary widely depending on how well or poorly the LED design peculiarities matches with the design of the light fixture. The same bulb can be garbage in one fixture and great in another, so finding the right combination of LED bulb and fixture involves a lot of trial and error. Or at least it used to. Since finding these Cree bulbs, I've had good performance in a wide variety of fixtures. Both glass shaded and reflector style lamps seem to work well with these bulbs, although glass is best. The only application I've found that I go to other LED style are for more distant "throw" lighting. For that purpose, bulbs whose LEDs all face forward (instead of the 360 design of the Cree) perform better. If that's your need, try the Home Depot EcoSmart 50W equivalent PAR20 instead. I've had good luck with those also.

Cree Light bulbs are very bright. 13.5 watt(75 watt equivalent) need to be dimmed in a 4 bulb ceiling lamp. Amazingly, they are absolutely cool to the touch. No heat whatsover. Purchasing was very convenient - orfered online, delivered to my door.

Vary bright, equal or brighter than a 100 watt bulb.

I am in charge of lighting up my condominium complex and subsequent lightbulb replacement. We love the "daylight" bulbs because they offer so much light and a sense of security. However, I can no longer find the 75W "Daylight" CFL bulbs anymore. I was looking to find a LED bulb with the equivalent brightness, but found that most are in the "cool" temperature range (not bright enough). Light bulbs have different "temperatures" and come in warm, neutral, cool, and daylight. With this in mind, I was thrilled to find these LED "daylight" bulbs that put out equivalent brightness to my beloved 75W Daylight CFLs - without the mercury!

Love the brightness of the daylight bulbs... my only regret is that you can't by them in the store...you have to order online...

We used all 6 in this package to replace daylight flood lamps in the track lighting of a large sewing room and they are wonderful. We will be purchasing another package soon. The initial cost of converting to LED can be hard to swallow but certainly is well worth it.

Did some comparison shopping and these bulbs where the best buy for the lumen output. They are very fragile, dropped one on the floor mat and it shattered. Shipping was free and speedy!

These are well made lights. The light output and pattern is very close to an equivalent incandescent bulb. The price was a little high but if you like a lot of light without high electric bills then these are for you. These are a very white light, if you like the softer yellowish light order the lower color temp.

These bulbs are exactly what I was looking for. They are exactly like the 60W version available in stores, both in physical appearance and in the color of the light, the only difference is that these are 40% brighter. They turn on istantly, no 1-second delay like many lesser LED bulbs, or slow warm-up period like many CFL blubs. They work great on a dimmer. The only thing that could be better is a 100W version for even more brightness.

This light bulb is bright enough. But, it is pricey. I am sure when the volume is high enough, the price will come down. So, you may want to wait unless you really want to get ahead.
