I bought this and read the instructions on the packaging and online before I used it. I heated the pan slowly to medium on my electric range and coated it with a good amount of olive oil. I cooked some asparagus and mushrooms and the veggies started to stick. The range was set at medium and I was constantly moving the veggies with a plastic spatula and were still were sticking. After that I let the pan cool completely down and hand washed the pan with Dawn and a soft cloth. There were several brown spots that took some elbow grease to get most of the spots out. Still had a couple after two attempts and the pan is now discolored. I tried to cook eggs, over medium, with olive oil. Same thing happened. Used medium heat and the eggs stuck to the pan. Ugh. It’s my first stainless steel pan, so I’m still researching on how to avoid the sticking and discoloration. Until then, I’m using my inexpensive non stick pan.

Skillet works great. Cooks well. Non-stick surface is excellent and easy to clean. Would give five stars if it had a helper handle.

I purchased a set of pots and pans. I love them but wish they were thicker.

Great pan for a great price. The pan weight is perfect, the lid fits well, the non-stick performs as you’d expect. I’ve only had it a few months, the real tell is how well it holds out over time with proper use.

This 12” skillet is heavyweight and big enough to get the job done.

You will be amazed at this non-stick surface! So far no scratches, but I am amazed at the non-stick, easy clean up, it's a breeze. Everything I have fried has slid right out. I have never had that with any frying pan I have ever bought.

Very nice 12" skillet with cover. We fry fish, cook stirfry, and various one skillet meals. Even heating and stays warm to serve from on the table. B I g score on the skillet! Thanks!

Haven't used it very often, but when I do, I have been very satisfied. It warms up quickly, heats evenly, and is easy to clean.

Use it a lot and very careful with cleaning and not letting anything metal or abrasive touch the cooking surface. However, after about a year the non-stick is not so non-stick any more.

Great pan for daily use. Big enough for 1-pan cooking for 2, love the fact it can go into a 450° oven(NOT the lid) to finish my recipes. Fast, effortless cleanup. I haven't been a fan of nonstick before, but avoiding metal utensils and proper storage will help this skillet last a long time! Highly recommended!!

By far the best skillet that I’ve ever used. Cuisinart is quality with affordability rolled into one. I’ve use this brand for many years after using the dime-a-dozen cheep stuff and became so tired of replacing it every year because it couldn’t hold up to everyday cooking. Happy Cooking!

I absolutely love my Chef's Classic Skillet. It cooks evenly and is very roomy for the large meals I make. So easy to clean up. Wash in soapy water and rinse, ready to be used again. I am so glad I found this product!

It keeps the food hot and keep's me from getting burnt

I have used the skillet to make hamburgers and they cooked perfect. Also, I used it to make my spaghetti sauce and it cleaned up wonderful. This skillet is one of the best I’ve ever used and so easy to handle

I'm a home chef and work at home (aka I'm home every day). I cook every mean at home. I used this pan for nearly every meal. I estimate I cooked with this pan close to 200 times. I love the feel. I can easily toss food while cooking, which means I don't need to use utensils (aka no scratches). The pan heats evenly and retains heat well. For the first 170 uses, the non-stick was fine. The last couple dozen uses the pan is sticking. Even frying bacon or adding pasta to a sauce is sticking. When the food sticks, it will burn. This pan is no longer useable.

Scratches easily and everything sticks to the skillet even if you use oil or pan spray.

This is literally the best pan/lid set I've ever owned! You can't go wrong with this one!

I have used this skillet and both times it was a disaster. It looks nice but if your going to cook with it beware! I used it to make Hamburger helper just to try it out. It wanted to stick so I turned the heat way down from medium where I started. I still had to stir it constantly to prevent further sticking. When finished I wash washing it by hand with soap and a wash cloth and had a couple spots where food was stuck that would not come off. I used a nylon scrub that scratched it. How does nylon scratch stainless steel? My silverware is stainless steel and it never has been scratched by the nylon scrub pad. There is no way you would ever be able to use a metal spatula with this thing. Then the next day I SPRAYED the pan to make an omelette with less than medium heat and as soon as the eggs had cooked enough to fold over, it was already stuck to the skillet!!!! We had scrambled omelette for breakfast. If you are looking for a skillet, KEEP LOOKING! This one is terrible. What a waste of over $30.00. What was I thinking????

When I purchased the Classic Stainless set I wasn't sure how I would like cooking with pans that did not have non stick coating. So far I have had no issues and am very pleased with this selection. The quality of this cookware seems very good and the stainless is very attractive.
