I had started my project with thinset from a tile store quite a drive from home. I needed an extra 10 lbs to finish the job, so I ran up to my local HD close to home. This Flexbond was difficult to mix and within a few minutes stopped adhering tiles to the wall. I mixed up small quantities, and it would quickly skin over before I could get any tile on the wall. The first product I used worked much better and had a longer working time. I’m concerned I’ll have to go back to the other tile store farther away and redo the last bit of tile on this job.

Perfect for installing tile over tile. I was left with laminate over tile, had water damage, pulled the laminate to find granite tile. Instead of breaking it up and removing it, just adhered the new tile over it.

Super product!

Easy to mix and excellent length of bucket and work time after it’s troweled. Product is great for protection against substrate cracking. Customer service is awesome too.

This is high quality product but you have to check the date to make sure it is not more than a year old. It is a Julian date: year then day of the year ( 1 thru 365) One of the bags I got was from 2018 and that one is going back.

Used Flexbond for my Shower Wall tile. Easy to mix and get the right texture and it worked very well. Make sure to back-butter all wall tile regardless of how good your product is.
