Best Grout around. Easy to clean. Long lasting on pool tile.

This stuff is worth the extra cost! Stain resistance saves the step of sealing. Be careful though, it sets up a little faster than the regular grout!!

I read on other reviews that it dries quick so I was sure to work quickly i used one bag (1/2 box) and did my whole shower 12x24 tiles. I managed to get it done before it hardened up but just barely. my big problem is the color dried pretty much white. but I used platinum 115. still looks good but may try a small selection first.

Used this product in the "bone" color. This is the first grout job on the first tile job I have ever done. Used it on a tub surround with 12 x 12 porcelain tile. I found the grout easy to apply, pack into the joints, shape, and the haze was easy to remove after a few hours using only cheesecloth to buff the tile. The key is to mix in small batches or if you are working in a large area, or have several people all with their own grout and floats and working together. I put 8 oz of water into leftover quart yogurt tubs, gradually added 2 pounds, 2 oz of grout powder, mixing well with a stir stick, after each addition of powder. Before the last addition of powder, I added about approx. 2 tablespoons more of water. Add the last powder and stir. Rest for 5 minutes, mix and use. The product will flow well and be usable for about 30 minutes. After that it became too thick and grainy and was very hard to push into the joints. Give up then, clean out what is left in the container, and mix more fresh. Worked well for my tub surround and would probably be manageable for shower, but would take some planning for a large floor if you were working by yourself. The setup time is unforgiving. If you can work with the fast setup, the results are great and the color is consistent throughout.

Color was a great match

would not buy again. Bought it in two colors, charcoal and Pewter. The charcoal swatch showed it as a cool-toned one-shade-lighter than black, however upon applying it was a warm tone jet black, and did not lighten when dried, we sealed our tiles first, and this black still stained a spot that we missed so would not ever use with a super contrasting tile. The pewter was the perfect Color when wet but it dried about 3 shades lighter than the Color swatch, really disappointing when we wanted a contrast. Also found this grout to be extra gritty and didn’t dry very smooth it looks like a cheap job, also hard to sponge down as it sets so quick, and you only get about 20 minutes of working time before it begins to set in the bucket. Dont bother, buy a different brand.

Consistent color throughout. No dye streaks. Goes on and comes off very nicely. The ease of use makes it go a very long way with very minimal waste. I used the Chateau color which was very versatile.

This is the worst product that I could have chosen for my 300 sq ft penny tile kitchen floor. The color washed out as it was being applied. It didn't say that it must be sealed IMMEDIATELY. I called Custom Building Products and they sent me a serious chemical cleaner which just removed more of the color. I reported back to CBP and they sent Grout Renew. It was tp be applied with a toothbrush to the grout line. It is the thickness of pudding. A toothbrush is 3 times the width of my grout lines, impossible to not cover the tile. If the grout renew ever wears off the top of the tile it might look ok but for now its just awful.

The Light Smoke dried much lighter than expected. Prior to mixing with water it was the correct color... when dried not so much. It goes okay with the tile, but definately not what I would have hoped for when drying. Plus you can see from the picture there is one spot that dried a totally different color for an unknown reason. Would most likey not go with this brand again considering I thought I was paying for quality. Have done more than a few tile and grout jobs with no problem until now. Now I have to dig out this section and redo

Easy to use. My grout lines were 1/16 and it flowed/filled quite easily. My only problem was that the coverage was way off. Their chart says a box should cover 96' ft for 1" square tiles 1/4" thick with a caveat for jobsite conditions and installation practices, but I'm not sure how that could really change things that much. I was working indoors with 66 degree temps, pretty average, but i used practically the entire box for just 42 sq ft! I mixed each pouch separately which gave me less stress to try and get it all down in the recommended 30 minutes. That also kept my work area in easy reach and my knees out of the grout, or from having to use a board. I highly recommend this product!

Nice grout, spend the extra money on the prism. It is more color consistent and more durable.

I really didn't see anything special with this grout that is twice the price of a 25 pound bag. I mixed up on bag and had to add some more water half way through as it was starting to set quickly. I felt like it was harder to work in that normal sanded grout as well.I bought the Delorean Grey in standard grout for a previous project and tested color in a small area under the cabients. The color doesnt match.

Looks good. Recommended by tiling contractor. Prism has good grays that set off tile colors.

Great grout product, color was consistent, just use as directed and the results will be amazing.

Pros from a contractor: 1. Product is easier to work with than standard grout. 2. Color is more even. 3. Has stain blocking in it. 4. Faster curing time with high early strength 5. Allegedly resists shrinking, cracking, powdering, and wear. 6. Less package weight. Cons: 1. Double the cost of standard grout. 2. Still shows efflorescence, but not as much. 3. May still need sealing. 4. Did not cover as listed on packaging. It took 4 boxes to cover what it said 3 boxes would cover. 5. Less open or workable time. DONLIN CONSTRUCTION

This is an excellent grout for traditional grout work. It mixes, applies and finishes very nicely. Very easy to work with. Although I use it for traditional grout work, I thought I'd give it a try in a very non-traditional application. It is gray in color so I thought I would try it as a cement repair. I'm replacing a floor and when I pulled the old floor up the concrete around a patio door needed refinishing. I also had a crack in a sidewalk that I filled with this product. I included a few pics showing the before and after of both tests. This product worked very well. As I said I use it for traditional grout work, but it also worked very well for this unusual project.

I got this Prism #165 Delorean Gray Grout to use on one of my mosaics. The color is a light to medium soft gray and is just what I needed to complete my project. The day I grouted my mosaic, the temperature and the humidity were very high. Normally I would have waited for cooler weather. However, the information on the box assured me I would get consistent, uniform grout color regardless of temperature and/or humidity. So I proceeded to finish my mosaic. I was extremely pleased with the whole process of using this grout and with the final outcome. It is easy to spread and it has a nice smooth texture which makes it simple to apply. It set fast, was easy to remove from the top of my tiles and cured very quickly. And last, but not least, the beautiful Delorean Gray color is definitely consistent and uniform regardless of the weather. It looks great! The instructions on the box are clearly written and easy to follow. I highly recommend this product.

Used this for a pebble tile floor in the shower. Worked great and easy clean up. A little tricky to get the right consistency since I only needed one of the two bags, but this was my first grouting project in decades and it was MUCH more workable than past products I've used. Nice to be able to rely on the color consistency.

The color matched the tile perfect and that was not an easy fit. Tile is Allen Roth in oyster. It came well packaged but took a looong time to arrive. Also quite pricey (cheaper though than at my local tile store).

Easy enough to mix, directions were simple, it does set fairly quickly so only mix one bag at at time. Color matched perfectly, mine came with two individual bags.

All in one. Saves time.

Prism grout is convenient because it contains the sealer, however it is very finicky when mixing. A drop to much of water and your almost perfect mixture returns to a soupy mess. It also has a very short mix-life. If works for a brief time, turns thick and lumpy then it is suddenly hard. Not particularly convenient compared to Polyblend grout.
