The screw that retains the rubber washer on my existing faucet valve stem wouldn't come out to allow me to replace the rubber washe
This was a direct replacement for my application. No more dripping faucet.

Worked beautifully.
Replaced a 45+ year old faucet stem in an apartment building laundry sink. I did not think they still made replacement parts...but they do. Cheaper and easier than replacing the whole faucet.

Not what you expect
There is no packing nut so when the stem begins to drip under the handle you will have to replace it
