Had to rate it poor because it actually was the wrong size, so retyurned it and replaced complete assembly with a Moen single handle ball type unit. Can't stand washer type units.

I replaced an original Price Fister valve with this Danco....
I replaced an original Price Fister valve with this Danco. It would not totally seal off flow between the spout and shower head. I then bought an original price Fister, also at Home Depot, and it worked 100% correctly. I have used other Danco valves and parts that were fine but this one was a dud.

Do your research on installation. Hopefully Home Depot website lists...
Do your research on installation. Hopefully Home Depot website lists tools needed to install properly. Take away I learned is to make sure the nut is tight where the stem turns or else water will leak through the handle. This is easier done before installation. DONT FORGET TO TURN THE WATER OFF!
