This product is designed for cosmetic defect repair applications on drywall/plaster and similar surfaces. As this is a water-based (acrylic-latex) formula, the sole drying mechanism is the evaporation of water and as such some shrinkage is to be expected. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, the product may be returned to the point of purchase or returned directly to DAP for a refund of your purchase price. Instructions for this process can be found on the product package.
