A knee saver
These are very well designed and comfortable to wear.

I've worn better
They stick to everything. The straps are poorly located. I should've noticed this before I purchased them. An error on my part.

Look further -- poor design, overpriced
Not a premium product: poorly designed and overpriced. I do a lot of DIY work and am always looking for great tools to help me get the job done. This is not one. While the product looks like someone put a lot of thought into the design, it's clear that no one ever tested it. Right out of the package, I attempted to strap it on my knee. Hmmm... no, this doesn't feel right. Maybe I have it upside down. No, that's even worse. One more try.... Give up. The straps don't hold the pad on, the velcro abrades your skin. Terrible design. Do not waste your money or time on this product.

Pure garbage
These knee pad are just plain horrible. The straps are poorly made and wear out quickly. They constantly slide down your leg when walking in them. They also sometimes roll to the side when you are actually able to use them as knee pads. I ended up getting a cheaper, lighter model at the blue box store that has a wide single strap that goes behind the knee. Been nothing but happy with these.

    worst design ever
These are the poorest designed things I've ever seen. I thought I was spending extra for quality but there is no way to fasten them properly. Even if you cross the straps like the previous reviewer said. Don't waste your hard-earned money on Dead-On products. I've bought their products in the past, and everything they put out is terrible quality.

    Poor design
The pads look tough and durable, and the outer covering looks rugged. But the straps and attachment points are terribly designed. There is no good way to put them on without either cutting off circulation to my calf and there being lots of extra strap flopping about, or the straps being so loose that. The pads shift and don't stay where they belong.

    Durable but not very comfortable
I like these knee pads because they are durable and they stay on my knees after a full day of walking, climbing and kneeling. However, I find I have to position them very carefully or the hard outside shell digs into my knees. Even when carefully adjusted, they don't seem to have much padding.

This product is the best: DON'T BE DUMB!
I have been a professional appliance repair man for over 20 years now and on my knees many times a day working on appliances. I started wearing knee pads before each service call about 3 years ago. My knees have thanked me several times. My first pair I purchased 3 years ago have worn out and are NLA so I stopped by Home Depot again the other night to see what they have: there are no knee pads worth considering in Lowes. I tried these on in the store and they seemed like a good pair to try: fit okay and felt like they would serve me well. The first day I put them into action I strapped them on and thought "These might do." NOT at comfortable as I was hoping not staying in place as well as I hoped but I give them an little time. Then FLASH! I realized you have to cross the straps behind your knee and they fit completely different! I will be stopping by Home Depot today to get another pair in case when I need another pair these are NLA.

    Do not buy
Think you are paying more for quality? Nope, no matter how you put these on they will not stay on, worst design ever. I like to buy things once, but these will go in the garbage.

First impressions: good fit, light weight
I have only used these once so far (yesterday) but they are far superior to the (similar cost) pads they replaced. Consider this an "first impressions" review. I do irrigation and outdoor lighting work. These are comfortable so far on concrete, brick, turfgrass and soil. They are snug (I have legs like tree trunks), but bend easily at the knee. They are sturdy and didn't slip. I'm giving them 4 stars, but I reserve the right to come back and add my thoughts after a month or two.

      I am not impressed.
Keep falling off your knees no matter how you put them on, Very unstable, It was the most expensive ones in stock at Tumwater Homedepot in WA. Not even as good as the other cheap brand.
