I was iffy to think 3inch screws might be a little too long for my job, but given how these planter planks were 2 inches themselves, this size was perfect for my job. From the time I held the screws in my hand until I put the planters on to the ground, I had zero doubt that they couldn't do the job! Very good quality, the self-drilling feature is especially useful since they are long screws.

This product performed exactly as advertised. They were easy to use. We replaced our fence between us and the neighbor. We could not find 8 foot panels so we had to use single 8 foot panels. I was doing it by hand. I installed over 200 boards. I would highly recommend this product.

I ordered 3 boxes of nails online for in-store pickup, expecting 186 pieces per box as advertised. However, the boxes I received were labeled as 157 pieces, and when I counted, each had only 164-166 nails. This discrepancy is frustrating since I needed over 500 nails and now have to buy an extra box. I returned to the store to check for boxes with 186 nails, but there were none. The product doesn’t match the description.

I love these screws. Go in easily and screw heads don't strip. Only one I will use for my exterior wood projects.

I have used these for decks, pole buildings, moving and building boxes. Only broke 2 out of thousands. I keep a box on hand. Good screws.

Horrible, the 1x 6's were 5 3/4 instead of 5 1/2 , so I had to rip them with a skil saw cause I don't have a table saw, and 4 of the pieces were warped .I'll never order lumber from home depot again

Deckmate screws are my go-to fastener for outdoor woodworking projects. I have used them for decking, railing, a play structure, and garden boxes. They go in straight and smooth and I don't have to worry about them corroding after a few seasons.

These did great job i got the deck together with easy . This deck has been up about a year now still holding together perfectly .

Nice screws, chisel-tip bit self-drills so predrilling is unnecessary (although I still do it near an end cut). Included bit grabs the screw well, so no slipping and stripping screw heads. But $11 a pound for screws? C'mon, Home Depot...

I built steps about 3 years ago and now I need to remove the tops to do some rework As I tried to remove the screws everyone was rusted and snapped. I tried various techniques to remove them but they all just snapped. Yes they were fine on initial install but JUNK if you ever have to do rework! Now I have a MAJOR problem with removing the top of the step without damaging them. Lifetime Warranty seems useless for my problem, unless they pay for extra time and material.

We installed our deck about one year ago. Today, we are moving a few boards to make some adjustments and the deckscrews have already deteriorated and broke.

I used these (#9x3") to fasten down my deck boards only to find out 6 months later that they have snapped off as the boards shrink or curl a bit. Reading thru the other 1 star reviews, it seems the mfr doesn't really care as the responses are all cut and paste with no offer what so ever to replace or reimburse the customer for their failed product. Lifetime Warranty ? Hahahahahahaha.............

Even with a small pilot hole on the outer board, these screws do not grab the wood, will strip the inner material, and won’t drive far enough to set. Thread design is very poor and most likely the culprit. In the photo I am pointing to the Deckmate screw.

Not made in the USA gets 4 stars. It works with the 4x4 post bracket you make. I will see how it stands up to corrosion in time?

They don’t countersink! It says improved thread design! These are so disappointing. Will not purchase again.

Used to attach frame to fence for my vacant lot

I've been using Deckmate deck screws for more than ten years. I've never had a problem. They seemingly will last forever. I like the fact that they include a new and free star head bit with all box purchases. It actually appears they are better now than they were, and before they seemed perfect.

This Lifetime guarantee is a LIE! But, they got their money, and now we have to replace our entire deck because of their screws.

It clearly states in the description that j was getting a 126 piece of 2” so i thought i was getting a deal n ordered it.Well when i received the box it was a 91 piece.Also i purchased a 2 1/2” also and it was supposed to be 87 piece n showed up and it was 73…Im seriously considering taking legal matters to stop them from scamming people out their money.I can careless about suing for money but this is a multimillion dollar company scamming people cause they thing its okay cause no one is doing anything about it.Oh did i mention the reason i called?I called cause the screw box was smashed and had bent screw in it.Only the screw box was damaged,therefore i know it was the main company and not ups that smashed it!!

I was making a ramp with 2*6 wood and that screws really worked great

After less than a month we noticed some loose slats on our fence. Problem was that the screws were breaking off on their own. This was on a privacy fence. Never seen a 1/2 fence slat break a screw before!

Honestly, it was a complete accident. I wasn’t paying attention. I usually always buy the beige color. But as far as performance, they was ok. Could have more screw and less shank. That’s on any of them 2”s and over At $35 plus tax and walk out. It gets the job required done. I use these deck screws on my projects only. I purchased recently pickets and more screws for another project that I’ve been playing with for the past couple years.

I put the #10 x 3.5 in on my deck and 4 years later, several of the screws were rusted. What's worse is that, when I tried to remove, the heads broke off and left me with a big problem.
