I have never been more disappointed in a tool.
Used for less than 15 min, jammed so bad that it had to be taken apart. Put it together again and fired 2 staples and it jammed again even worse. I quit while I was ahead and returned it.
I've always liked DeWalt cordless tools but I guess I'll need to look elsewhere for a staple gun.

All around Excellent Professional Grade Tool
Words really can't express how incredibly happy I am with this tool.
The $350 price tag was a little painful but the ease of use, the near perfection of every staple setting in place at the perfect depth and the ability to either shoot 1 at a time or much like a near automatic rate where the pressure of the tip sets the gun off (wow!).
Loading the staples is a snap and no misfires as this gun won't fire when your number of staples dips below about 7.
The gun is heavy but as I used it I got to the point where I could just increase production greatly.
The battery is good but because I have about a dozen other DeWalt 20V tools, I just put on a 4 amp battery and never came close to running out of power.
Other things to consider is the noise level compared with using an air compressor, when you are not nailing, there is zero noise. Also, the gun, battery, charger, and plenty of room for staples all fit in the included bag. Very easily packed and carried to the job.
This is one of those "If I lost this tool, I would replace it immediately" tools.

Cordless 20v stapler
Had this tool a long time before getting to use it.
Very hit & miss, tool refuses to fire more often than not & the cycle time seems excessive.
This is the only Dewalt cordless tool that has been a let down & l own over 30 Dewalt products. Very disappointed

The only thing I think they could improve is the tip protector. The little "clear" plastic that comes with it disappears in the first time you use it. Now the metal tip keeps marking the wood (specially if it is a soft wood with nice surface) It should have a permanent protector.
