The planer works great, just what needed for cleaning up small wood projects. That said it needs a dust port adaptor, not included. Part number appears to b 5140090-45.

No bag/case
Great planer and does the job. The only thing about it is I wish I had spent the extra $20 for the Makita that comes with a case. I thought this would at least come with a bag for storage of all the accesories it has but nope. So now I lose those when not in use.

Dust bag - NOT
No dust bag and no way to connect to a vacuum with that weird ovalish exhaust port was a deal killer - I usually prefer DeWalt, but this puppy has China written all over it

I love all my DeWalt tools but this one, this...
I love all my DeWalt tools but this one, this is one I’ve wanted for a while and I’m so happy I finally got it. I’m a handyman that works all across the board but lately I’ve found a lot of my jobs require uniquely cut wood. For trimming down, shaping or refurbishing wood this is a must have!
