[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great small bench grinder, stable and well balanced, very little vibration. Has guards for shards and protection around actual grinding wheel. Easy access to on/off switch that is solid. Easy to move around if needed, not too heavy.

the grinder is great, but I am vert upset with home depot because it took just over 6 weeks to get it. No one could give me any good reason why it took so long, and when it did come I had to come to the store 3 Three times before they would give it to me. that was 3 different days.

The Dewalt bench grinder is a great item. How do you go wrong with a Dewalt anything

This is a very good grinder with plenty of power for every thing I have used it for. The reason I gave it four stars is because it is made in China. If it was made in the USA it would get 5 stars.

Well built

I am very impressed, it is extremely smooth, no vibration. I have used it a lot (tools, very bad mower blades, axe and other landscaping tools without needing to bolt it down. I move it from counter to movable table and no vibration.

Works as expected.I would give 5 stars if there was a work light and 60° "V" shaped groove on the left tool test for sharpening drill bits.

This grinder was not easy to set up due to the platforms not fitting around the wheels. Easy fix with a few washers. Other than that, it has been great! Sharpened axe heads and hedge cutters. I'll be cleaning up some steel legs for a table and don't foresee any problems.

Replaced this for my basic bench grinder at work. Powerful enough for a 6" chineese made grinder. The reason I came here wasn't to give feedback, since I'm here I thought I would. One of my co-workers broke one of the eye shields, he's one of those guys that could brake an anvil in a sandbox.

Grinder itself works fine. Biggest problem is that the grinder wheels are even with the motor housing, This does not allow you to grind any item larger than the space between the wheel and the housing without coming in contact with the housing. The wheel should be larger in diameter than the housing which is 6 inches in diameter.Needless to say I returned the item for a refund and bought a Delta brand grinder with proper spacing and diameter. Also there is no light , on the dewalt and there is one on the Delta. Same price when Delta is on sale for 99.98 which is what I purchased.

I really like this grinder. It is quite smooth running and has adequate power.

I really wanted this grinder to work for me. I liked the looks of it, plenty of power, and in general it appeared well built. But because of the flanges I am giving this a 2 star. The very small shoulder on the shaft and the thin stamped flanges makes it a prone to axial wheel wobble.

I like this bench grinder - it has fair power and is relatively quiet. I would have given it 5 stars except for a quality control issue. One of the two bolts for the two tool rests was the wrong length (1/4" too short). However, the local DeWalt representative was very good about mailing me the correct part. BTW, there is reason I requested the correct part instead of just buying another bolt from the hardware section at Home Depot. The bolts used are an odd combination - regular threads (1/4 in.) but metric size heads (10 mm). Also, the bolt was an odd length (1 and 3/4 inch). I also wish that the bench grinder came with lights like some of the other lesser rated bench grinders.

Missing parts, dewalt sent hard was e package free of charge.Nice unit!

It fit my needs perfectly and after truing the stones a small amount it runs vibration free.
