Always used Klein and knipex for work(industrial maintenance) and need a cheap pliers on the fly but started using these as my main pliers since the spring mechanism makes them easy to use in one handed operations and they have held up surprisingly well over the year I’ve had them. Never had any issues with them use them daily for master links on rollers chains and cutting welding wire(3/32 flux and metal core) and steel wire. Blades and the grooves on the pliers have held up very well.

I've owned this set of long-nose pliers for 4 or 5 years I think, and they replaced a set of pliers from another company that literally snapped. The DeWalt pliers are of far better quality, are much stronger, and are very, very comfortable in the hand. However, not all is perfect: this locking mechanism is not designed well at all. They may or may not open with the slightest bump, and there's no way to fix it without grinding down the silver lever a little bit. You'll see in the photo they're slightly open; they open very slowly until they pop open all the way. These were in a drawer when they opened one time, and it prevented me from opening the drawer. I had to get my daughter with her tiny hands to reach inside and move the pliers. Pretty frustrating. If they redesigned the silver locking lever to actually catch like it should, this would easily be a 5-star tool.

These Pliers cut better than my Knipex cutters and Snap On Linemans. I broke my linemans cutting screws and used the Dewalt pliers to finish the job.

Awesome pair of pliers! Compound action equals easier cutting and use of these pliers. Just feel like quality. Dewalts the best!

Your delivery service is a joke, takes 3-5 days longer than the advertised delivery time. And obviously, your online service is non existent because this is the third time your company has sent me a survey asking “how did we do” and after three negative responses, not one person has responded to my responses. I have no desire to shop at Home Depot ever again.

Replaced an old pair of pliers, these had a lock on the side and spring loaded opening which makes them so easy to use. Love them and will buy them again.

Took is great Quality handles feel good haven’t had any problems with it slipping just quite yet. I feel like it is a little over priced but that’s with most tools. I would most definitely recommend

Great design and construction. The cross-hatch teeth has always served me well (while the common alligator type teeth were too aggressive). The compound-action (or double hinge) offers extra gripping advantage.

Attempted to cut 10 gauge wire didn’t cut clean.. tried to cut 1/4 pneumatic air line, only pinched the hose

Great long nose pliers.

I purchased a new pair of long nose pliers because my others were apparently left at a job site. The compound pliers were picked because the standard action ones were not available. They actually have great grip and worked amazingly well on the job. I’m glad to add them to my tool bag!

As always, Dewalt makes great quality products.

The locking mechanism in my opinion amazing, because when I am putting his tools away they are not getting caught on everything thanks to that mechanism.
