I took time to write this review after 6 Months of use and testing, they are still holding up and making/saving me money and time. This kit is great for any handyman contractor or home diy. They are sturdy and comfortable to use and I for see years of use for of these products

I buy these tools every 3 months

I noticed today a hole in the bottom of the rolling toolbox. Since the box is full of tools, I didn't notice the hole immediately. It must have appeared weeks ago. I'm guessing that a small object punched through the bottom. I only used it about once a week for light DIY work, so I am disappointed that it only lasted 2 months. "Tough" is a misnomer. But I am completely satisfied with the tools. The impact does have a "burnt" smell, but it works just fine.

Altho i haven't used the drill and probably never will. The impact driver is replacing one i bought 6 years ago and have used it for many hours. The drill is something that is pretty much obsolete. I used impact drivers for everything now that drill bits are made to fit it. This set was on sale for 149.00. A great deal. I love that big Ole orange store.

Good value and great variety. It would be helpful in the description to understand which tools are brushless and which are not however. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

Every tool is good for working home to make nice furnitures, good price/ quality ! I recommend this deal.

Great saw, it does everything I needed it to do. I only have one complaint. It doesn't blow the sawn dust away. That's not cause for me to return it, I'm not going to be using on a daily basis. Just something to consider if you're interested in purchasing it.

Great deal, doesn't come with the key for the grinder or an Allen wrench for the other tools to tighten it up. Other than that minor needs it is a really great deal.

Purchased this set on 3/28/2020 at the East Haven CT store. Both the picture on the website and the picture on the box itself show that the batteries are also 20V XR, but the batteries do not have any XR markings on them. No idea if they are the same quality. They are still LI 2AH batteries but not listed as XR makes me feel as though I got the wrong batteries maybe?

I love this set! Used it to build this drill charging station and it work flawlessly. Ready to use them on many more projects.

The omly thing that I hate with these big comdo sets is that you only get 2 batteries, come on dewalt you've got to think realistically, 9 tools only 2 batteries, but as far as tools go very happy with the combo.

Dewalt makes some of the greatest tools know. They all work like a dream, I even bought the nailer, edge trimmer, weedeater and more. You cant beat this product.

This entire combo tool set has been easy to use from the start. The interchangeable battery is very nice to have with all of the tools. Even though it is only a Type-2 battery I am still able to get around an hour of continuous heavy-use out of it before having to switch over to my backup.

Yeah I am happy with the power and the led lights are helpful when working in a dim lighted area...when I got it I put one after the other battery on the charger...I wanted to make sure that both batteries were at a full charge before I used it..so as each battery reached it's charged level according to the led light I would unplug the battery and then replug it back again to see if it could take any more charge....one battery was fully charged and would not take any more charge..but the second battery did begin charging again...and then would reach full charge and then when I plugged it back in began charging again...and this happened 3 or 4 times before it finally would not take any more charge...once charged everything works great but I decided to take a permanent marker and write A on one battery and B on the other to keep a closer eye on it in the future...other than that I am really happy it has been sitting in my garage for weeks without use and when I used it it still had enough charge to do the job and still have plenty left over...I have the Craftsman ultimate bit set and together with the impact driver they are the perfect combination...every bit in the Craftsman set snaps perfectly into the driver making it incredibly handy...overall I am super happy and would recommend that everyone that buys one gets the Craftsman ultimate bit set to go with it...hope this was helpful..

I researched for a drill driver and impact set for months to find this set. Since purchasing this set I have not used my old corded drill. I use this set almost everyday. Very nice power from each. The batteries last a long time. Both drivers come with a belt hook. This set dck283d2 also includes two batteries and a charger. I highly recommend this set.

Had to replace craftsman, batteries died. These are smaller and have more power. Had to build a shed.

This is a great set! The drill is about as compact as they come. This makes it easier to get into tight places. It's light. The battery is small but powerful. Two batteries come with the set so you can charge one while using the other. The impact wrench is also small and so easier to use in tight places. The canvas bag is awesome because there is plenty of room where you can put things in there that didn't come with the set. Not limited as with the blow molded cases.

I am, generally speaking a DeWalt fan, owning several of their products. My Bosch jigsaw recently failed because of a poorly designed blade holder, so I bought this Dewalt hoping to improve my luck. My luck didn't change. I have to join the chorus of those mentioning the "blades fall out" after an inch or two of movement. ( I am using the "t-shank" jig saw blades.) I think this is a design failure too, for these reasons: The product works fine with the thicker blades one might use in a jig saw, but as one moves to the more narrow blades, like those used on metal, the blades fall out almost every time. In fact, with a really narrow blade, once it is properly seated and "locked in place" you can just jiggle it with you hand and it will fall out. Visually one can see that part of the holding mechanism just doesn't seem to really lock the blade as they get smaller. I did call DeWalt to see it they were aware of the problem and if they had a fix for it and I was courteously told they had no information on this issue. I guess they don't read bad reviews...I would have thought they would have someone assigned to that task. Two additional thoughts: This thing is very heavy. And the bevel mechanism locks and it takes severe pressure to move it from its default position. In the included photo the two blades on the left which are thicker, work fine, the two on the right both simply fall out after a second or two...not good. So I am off to do more research in hopes of finding a better product.
