This thing is an absolute beast. It will cut through anything with ease, not bogging down or lagging. I’ve cut LVL, glue lam, stair stringers, regular 2x4,6,8,10. Cuts them all like butter. Tons of power and torque. I love that the blade wrench is included and out of the way. 9AH battery will last me about 1/2 a day, so I highly recommend getting at least 2 9AH batteries to keep going all day.

This is the best cordless wormdrive. Everything dewalt comes out with is great. This saw has all the power you want in a cordless saw, cuts through 6x6 and 4x4 with ease. Has a nice straight push from the back which is different from past cordless saws made. It has a lot of control with it when it comes to ripping all of your boards down. If you decide that maybe it is to big for you I would highly recommend their 4” skill saw.

I have used this saw almost everyday for about 7 months. Pros - - The location of where the battery is makes the balance of the tool literally perfect. -I love the top hand. Other tool brands like flex have a cheaper feel. DeWalt made it very good. I cut 3/4 inch cultured floor marble like it was nothing! Cons- - The battery will fall out sometimes. It makes it difficult when working. - When it's really cold and wet it it seems to run different.

The saw has the power you want and the battery will last you all day. Would definitely recommend!
