The batteries do not hold a charge very long and the battery charge port that she said it on takes forever for the battery to charge. I am definitely not satisfied with this item whatsoever..

I seen alot of people get the atomic combo at the same price talk about a bummer if only I could turn back the clock.

Both tools work very well and meet expectations. Would have preferred the brushless versions. I did have to order online the bit and belt loop attatchments as neither came with this combo kit. Battery recharger must slower than the two I already had. So, good special price but is more of an entry level combo. Fine for me in retirement.

Basic, but works
The price at the time, was good, HD has since doubled the price for some odd reason. But you get what you need.
Tools seem to work well and feel decent.
NOTE: the battery's are VERY basic, for $220 you'd think there would be a charge indicator button/lights on the battery, NOPE. Nothing. Zero way to know at what level the battery's are charged. Just have to put them in the charger and wait it out.
If you can, wait for a 'sale'. Prices went crazy after the new year. Good luck.

The set was more than my son in law asked for! He was very impressed that it included both the drill driver and impact driver and came with the storage bag plus 2 20 volt batteries. This item was purchased as a gift and it exceeded expectations.
