Very good product. I've been installing crown molding for over 40 years. I've never used anything like this before, just me and my miter saw. My sons talked me into getting these a few weeks ago and I decided I would try it. These stops are remarkable. I usually draw pencil marks on my miter saw table for guides. Once installed and adjusted to fit crown size, it's just a matter of placing molding in the saw, lining up the measurement and pulling the trigger. Even simple for an old man. Made my job much easier. Thanks

extremely sturdy, well made, and perfect for crown molding.

I used layers of blue painters tape to hold the wood a the correct angle for cutting when I did the crown moldings on my vaulted ceilings. By installing these two crown molding stops made it so easy for correct placement of the wood. It made the next job of crown moldings a lot easier as it keeps the position for the project. I had to drill holes in the side of my miter saw to install it.

The guides mounted very easily. Once they were adjusted to fit the crown molding I was using repeat cuts and accuracy were great.

Purchased for use with my DWS780 12' slider, installation was simple and function is perfect. The stops are very heavy gauge metal that will not bend or deform after years of use. Simply adjust once to the correct depth of the crown being cut and then all future cuts are a breeze. My only complaint, would have been nice if these stops had come with the saw by default

Honestly haven't installed or used yet. Had to cut a return on each end of sill moulding, and finished the job before these arrived. Looking forward to using these next time.

Why bevel the saw and rotate it for every cut. With these you can simply set them to the depth/height of the crown, cut upside down at the angle you need for much faster and efficient cuts

Works great for cutting crown

I’ve only used these crown stops once, but, they worked good insuring that each piece of crown was properly placed on the mitre saw.

Work very well in holding crown molding or any other compound angle jointed pieces.

A must have for perfect crown molding meters.

Quality is good, but should have been just a little bit longer for taller crown moldings.Using thin plywood to make fence taller on miter saw and new holes in saw base, works great!

Great tool to work with

These Dewalt crown stops are 1/8" thick steel and secure the crown molding firmly for repeatable cuts. The metal area that comes in contact with the wood is slightly curved back on the ends so as not to leave any marks. These fit perfectly on the Hercules brand 12" miter saw.

This tool was so simple to install on a Dewalt miter saw and worked perfectly. It made cutting crown molding an easy task.

Well made. Sturdy. Fit my DW saw perfectly. Not 100% necessary to cut crown moulding but they help you make a more accurate cut and speed up the job. More important, the crown stops enhance safety by holding the crown firmly against the backstop allowing you to more your fingers further from the saw blade.

A must have if doing a lot of crown..been using them for years but lost them..I’ve been doing interior trim for 23 years and have only used DEWALT saws & cordless tools..DEWALT is the best
