Regardless of what it says on the product wrapper about being rust-free, ours eventually rusted. I uploaded a photo of what two of ours look like after 13 years. The one on the left is typical of what most of them look like now. The one on the right is the worst. We bought 10 of them. I am now shopping for replacements but they will be something different than these. I gave them 3 stars because they did last 13 years, although the rusting in the photos has been that way for probably 5 years or more.

The metal top is strong and sturdy, but the plastic vents below façade are a little less secure. Overall, it’s a good looking vent cover and the price is right. I’ve purchased several of them for my living room and they are classy looking.

Very nice and well made but cannot control direction of air so I returned it.

Looked great until it rusted less than a year after purchasing. Also 4 others registers had the plastic part break so have to replace them too...and there doesn't seem to be other registers that have similar design and color, so kinda stuck buying the same ones again

I have an older small bathroom downstairs that needs some tlc. I bought this antique style floor vent to perk up the floor. The vent is beautifully designed with a muted sheen. I love the look. The adjustable slats on the underside of the vent that direct the airflow are plastic. Hope the slats endure the heat over the years.
