Color/finish was different than expected.

It was a great light while it lasted but it broke just shy of one year of owning it. It started not lighting up unless there was some downward pressure put on the blub. It then completely stopped working. The switch assembly feels wobbly so there is probably a connection issue inwied to see if it could be access by unscrewing the dome to access the switch but there is no way to access the part with the switch based on the way it's built. Contacted Home Depot to see if they could do anything but their and the manufacturer's warranty only goes for 90 days. $60 down the drain.

It's perfect over my desk.

Exactly what I was looking for: sturdy, functional, and actually a brass not copper or gold finish.

Looks fine but the adjustment mechanism seems fragile.

This is a really high quality and stable lamp! I knew I wanted to make little modifications to it to meet my sons ‘aesthetic' needs and it was extremely easy to make those changes without compromising the original integrity. Home Depot made it easy to shop for the item, fast delivery, and a much better price compared to 2 other sites carrying the same lamp. Really was a great purchase from he Depot!

I love how it looks, however, it is difficult to adjust and stay that way.

Not easy to assemble and won’t stay straight. Hard to do something with extra wire.

I ordered the Bronze color, and it is Black!!! Deep shiny Black!! No brown at all, if you do not want a black color, do not choose this option. It is Black and there is not even a hint of bronze, brown or any other color but black!!! You have been warned.

This is a classy lamp that looks good in my living room. (I bought the antique brass finish.) The pole is not adjustable, but the arm at the top allows the light to be placed exactly where you need it. The lamp was easy to assemble, and came together in no time, with no tools needed.

Great lamp, highly recommend it. Arrived very well packaged and I was able to assemble it in a matter of minutes .... no tools required. I dithered around a bit about which finish to choose and ultimately chose the brushed brass and am very glad I did. Brushed finish won't show fingerprints nearly as much and the brass goes well with any decor. If your look is modern, vintage, Boho chic, etc. it will fit in well. The base is weighted well enough so it won't just topple over. Very glad I chose this lamp as it made for a perfect reading nook, I may have to get another one!
