Got this faucet a few years ago from Home Depot. Looks nice and everything still works, but it has one major issue. Since day one, it has been difficult to adjust temperature. Faucets from other brands have a smooth and gradual temperature control, but this Delta Lakeview faucet is either freezing cold or scalding hot with an extremely small warm sweetspot (see attached image for explanation).

Not a bad faucet for the price we paid. Replaced a Bell Foret which was much higher quality. This Delta is your typical lightweight stainless over plastic box hardware store faucet. Decent quality but I'm betting it wont last the 13 years the Bella did.

I don't understand all the great reviews of this faucet. We bought it on 11/24/14 and installed it right away. We have pretty much disliked it ever since, and probably should have returned it right away. Yes, it looks very nice. The pulldown magnet to hold it up there is nice, but never needed one on our old faucets, but good to have. Another good thing, it has never leaked. BUT, the temperature control is horrible. You either get very hot or very cold. Trying to get warm is a challenge. We can't let our grandkids help wash dishes as we're afraid they'd get scalded. We wrote to Delta about it, and they said you have to put it on full flow, get the temperature you want, and then pull the lever to reduce flow while being careful not to go left or right and change the temperature. This is a nearly impossible task! After 3 years, it has started being very difficult to get it to turn off, often leaving a dribble of water running. And, it randomly makes loud squeaks and creaks when turning it on or off. The control handle is getting stiff and difficult to move. Makes me miss the Moen we had in our old house, motorhome and nephew's house. Loved that one so much we gave them as gifts!

Love the pull out sprayer to spray dishes and clean the sink. Facuet looks so modern and beautiful. Easy to install,would recommend other buyers to purchase this facuet.

Looks nice, easy to install and more importantly it works very good. The only issue, spray head doesn’t return to the faucet once in a while. I have to go under the cabinet to reposition donut. Otherwise I like it.

I'm very happy with this faucet. It's a great addition to our kitchen with a classy look and feel. Install was very easy! The supply lines were the perfect length and hooked right up to existing pipes. Other than plumbers puddy and plumbers tape, the kit came with everything I needed. I will say the instructions illustrated a few extra steps at times that threw me off, but I was able to work through them no problem.I'm looking forward to getting many years out of this faucet!

Looks really pretty ... but... I purchased this about two years ago for a complete kitchen remodel and its already broke ... we don't have kids and are very careful on how we use it .. but the hose in the pull down mechanism already leaks and needs replaced.... disappointed....

I have installed a lot of faucets in my 70 years of all kinds. This Delta Lakeview was a simple straightforward installation even in my deep under counter cast iron kitchen sink. It actually took longer to remove the old faucet than it took to install the Delta. It looks great on my green granite countertop with the black cast iron sink. The pull down combined spout is a great idea. But best of all my lady loves it and thinks I can do anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The faucet comes in a beautiful Oil Rubbed Bronze that I was looking for. The tall goose neck, with the spray or stream head that pulls out makes it ideal for any sink. The ability to change the water stream to spray is on the back side of the head so it does not deter from the beauty of the head. The switch is smooth and large enough that any size hand would be comfortable with the spray head. The purchase of this particular model was decided upon because it had the water temperature control as a separate unit. I find it very easy to change the water temp while the water is being used. The goose neck moves side to side in a smooth and effortless manner. I found the installation of faucet to be as easy as any I have installed. The hot and cold lines are more than long enough to reach the shut off valves and color coded to make sure you get the hot and cold on the proper shut off valve. The water line connection between the hot/cold control valve and the goose neck is a push on and secured with a clip which makes it a tool free connection. This faucet is an easy installation and most do-it-yourself persons can install this faucet with ease. The purchase of this Delta Faucet was also made because my last Delta faucet was made over 10 years ago, was still in good working order, so a good friend of mine has installed it in his home because he needed a new faucet and the color was chrome which he needed.

So far I love this faucet It was very easy to install and it works and looks great. The directions were easy to follow and comprehensive.

We had this faucet installed 12/10/14 by a master plumber. When he went to install the handle unit, he was unable to make it set flush on top of the new Kohler stainless steel sink, which he also installed that same day. He discovered there was hard black plastic extending just below the base about 1/16 of an inch - all the way around, just inside the exterior wall. It was firmly attached and not adjustable. We quickly made a trip to Home Depot for another one. It also had the same issue. (Note: it has since been returned and the employee applied a "Defective" sticker to it, as she could see the problem, that the handle unit could not be installed flush.) The plumber contacted Delta both by phone and email. Delta was emailed the photo of the un-installed unit (same one attached to this review.) A Consumer Response Representative sent an email with the following determination [copied exactly from the email]: "I am sorry about the inconvenience. Unfortunately when we reviewed this case with out technical staff. we did not a manufacturers defect. Please check to see if the sink is level where the faucet would be." Both the plumber and myself had already communicated the sink is absolutely level but Delta made the decision that the problem was on our end and not due to a manufacturer's defect. The base sets the exact distance above the sink - all the way around - which it wouldn't do if the sink were not level. SO....if you decide to purchase one of these faucets....check the handle unit first and see if you also have purchased one of these - what I would consider 'DEFECTIVE" - units and then decide if it's something you can live with, before you're almost through with the installation process! My other complaint is how HARD it is to fill the soap unit. It has a very narrow entry so filling it can be messy, even using a funnel. (Note: this is using "equate" brand hand soap refill. I'm guessing a "runnier" soap would probably fill easier.) A small amount pumps out at a time - but that's a personal decision if that is good or bad. I personally would like just a bit more to dispense from a single pump. Other than those two issues.....I like the way the faucet functions. If I could change something (if possible!) I'd add a Pause selection in between the spray and stream selections. I'd also make ALL the unit pieces above the sink be metal instead of some plastic, especially considering the price. So that's something else you might want to check that you can live with before installing.

When we went looking for a new faucet there were 2 things that we needed to have. First was a separate faucet control and second was having hot and cold clearly marked on the control. This faucet totally filled our bucket list and goes fantastic with our new Kohler ( sorry Delta) stainless steel sink. Everyone who sees it absolutely falls love with it! It is so easy to control water temperature and flow not like the faucets with the control built onto the spigot. Nice Look. Nice Finish, Love the pull down with dual spray feature. Soap dispenser somewhat difficult to take out for refill. Overall great kitchen faucet.

I've only had the faucet installed for about a month.... and so far so good. The hose attachment once pulled out and put back seems to be holding quite well (I believe it's magnetized)... I am pleased with this thus far. The color/finish is awesome... on our remodel, we've gone with all oil-rubbed bronze fixtures and this one is very sleek and clean-looking. Installed rather easy by my husband... he had no gripes. So far, no complaints.... I sure hope it holds up to the test of time!

I see many complaints about the instructions, but for anyone who has installed a faucet before, the directions are likely not needed. The temperature adjustment does take some getting used to, but overall, this is a nice faucet. This seems to be the best option available for 3 hole installation.

We got this faucet to go with our new countertops and wanted a unit that looked great, did not leak, and was not too large. This unit works perfect. The pull down feature and sprayer is much better than the pull out type sprayers. The water pressure is fine for our purposes although it is somewhat less than our old faucet. I would buy it again. We love the way it dressed up our kitchen !!

We were very happy with the look of this product and the quality of the materials. Because of the style of the lever and the height of the valve assembly, we weren't able to turn on the water full force since the lever would hit the edge of the bar top counter. We chose the Delta Kate model instead and that works in our kitchen. You can see in the photo how the backsplash & countertop affected what type of faucet we could use.

We purchased this faucet at Home Depot, based on the recommendation of the store assistant. We had it installed professionally and even the plumber commented about the quality and features of our purchase. He was not a HD affiliated or recommended plumber. The pressure is strong in both normal and spray modes. The soap dispenser is new for us and filled a previous hole for the old sprayer. I purchased this faucet when my wife was out of town. She's happy so I'm happy!

Smooth operating. The magnet to hold the nozzle in the neck is a great feature. Easy to clean.

We have nothing but Delta faucets. When we remodeled, we changed from a chrome Delta faucet to a stainless finish Delta faucet. This faucet combines beauty and elegance with dependability, quality, and performance. The Magna Tite docking sprayer is easy to pull out and easy to retract. You are able to reach all areas of the sink. The faucet has 2 different water spray choices. We bought an extra soap dispenser, since our sink was bored for 4 holes and we use one for hand soap and one for dish soap. The finish does not show fingerprints. I would highly recommend this faucet to anyone.

I waited a long time to find the right replacement fixture for my kitchen.. Everything I found was either too expensive in my opinion for a replacement or didn't fit my sinks cut outs... Until I found this unit... It was also so easy to work with I decided to take on the task myself..my husband thought I was crazy and at first so did I but as I followed the detailed instructions it was not as difficult as I thought... Absolutely love it!

This faucet is great. I like the overall look and feel. I like the high arch so no more banging the dishes on a low lying faucet. I think the stream or spray while in the faucet is a great idea. It installed in about 30 minutes. My cabinets are from the 70's so not a lot of room to move around in. It will look great (not that it doesn't now) when I get around to installing new counter tops..The waterways are extra long, but can be cut to size. They even include extra bushings in case you need to cut them. The only thing I don't like, and it isn't that big a deal, is the soap dispenser top is made of plastic. Over all looks fantastic. Excellent product...
