I'm liking this towel bar a lot. It has a black matte, smooth finish and a interesting geometric design. The shape of the sides are like a faucet (they come out and curve down in the front) and they also separate from the bar for install. All hardware and a template is included. A large towel or 2 small towels will fit on this 18" length. I decided to use this one in the kitchen to go with the black appliances. Looks great.

I have an old washtub sink in my basement that I use for cleaning tools and my hands after doing work. In the past I would go through paper towels for drying my hands but that is costly and wasteful so I wanted to use hand towels thus the need for the towel rack. It looks great and is made with sturdy metal. I followed the template and was able to mount it very easily on the wall above the sink.

Can't get enough of the matte black! Delta offers a premium product you can expect to last. The matte black finish on this Ara towel bar is top-notch. We have the matching hand towel and toilet paper holder for a few months and the finish hasn't worn or took to finger prints. Has a sort-of modern look but can work well within any style/design, our design is kinda farmhouse. The metal has a good weight to it and it comes with everything you need to install it. Only con would be the plastic that holds the cross bar to the brackets, seems like something that could break eventually.

I added a grab bar to the tub for safety and we changed colors of the bathroom. This prompted the purchase of these new towel bars. I was a bit hesitant to purchase black towel bars but once I saw them installed with the new wallpaper we got from Home Depot, total hit. They look awesome with any colored towel. Easy to install. Make sure both sides are fully seated to the bar before measuring where to drill.

This is a decent towel bar, not really heavy duty but not flimsy. It's a good size and would hold two regular bath towels. Picture shows it holding an oversize bath sheet. While it holds towels well, I wouldn't use it to hang clothes hangers. If someone tries to use it as a dryer rack, the metal bar isn't heavy enough to handle more weight than a couple of damp towels, IMO. Most of our fixtures are brushed bronze so the black matte finish looks good with the decor. Since we mounted the towel bar to the door, we didn't use wall screws or anchors. The screws which come with the towel bar were too long so we used shorter length screws.

This is a nice, sturdy towel bar; being from Delta, I'd expect nothing less. The design is definitely unique, not like your run-of-the-mill towel bars, and a definite upgrade from most builder grade towel bars. It really makes a statement, if a towel bar can do such a thing! The installation was a snap, and the finish is very high quality. What's really great about this towel bar is that Delta makes matching fixtures that you can use to tie your entire bathroom together. Would definitely recommend if you're in the market for replacement bathroom fixtures and want something a little different.

This towel bar is very sleek and simple which should fit into several decorative plans because it is so basic. Yet it is very sturdy and the black color should fit into any decor as well. I'm planning to use this in my laundry room because the spacing between the wall and the bar itself is very roomy and it should hold several things. I can even use it for hangers if I want to hang clothes for drying.

The Delta Ara towel bar is a great addition to any any bathroom if you are seeking a modern streamline design. The clean satin black finish is very high quality and should last for may years. This towel bar matches the other items in the Ara collection including faucets, shower controllers, hooks, and holders. Overall I am very pleased with the way this towel bar accents my bathroom.

This towel bar unfortunately is not perfect. The matte black color is sleek and stylish, however the design is marred with gray plastic parts. The part that connects the rod to brackets is a gray plastic. It sticks out like a sore thumb. I included a picture of the area that I am speaking of. It was pretty disappointing. Otherwise, I enjoy the modern look of the towel bar. I like how the rod is a rectangle rather than tube shaped. The matte black color is perfect for a modern bathroom.

I finally found black towel bars. Believe it or not, it's hard to walk into a store today and find them. Nearly everything out there on shelves is either chrome, brushed nickel, brass, silver-satin or pewter. Our door hinges and knobs in this bathroom are black as well as the faucets. So, I was glad to stumble on this Delta 18 inch bar. It was sure easy to install and looks great.

I really like the style and looks of this towel bar and other items in this line as well. I’m adding this one in a restroom which has the 24” model as well. The matte black finish is great and complements the gray and wood tones in that restroom perfectly. They are solid when attached to the wall. All installation hardware is included in package as well.

My wife ordered this 18 inch towel bar from the Delta Ara collection in flat black. It showed up quick and well packaged. Everything is included for standard drywall installation. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I used a 3/16” drill bit and drill motor, level, measuring tape, pencil, and Phillips screwdriver. It took about 10 minutes to install. The towel bar appears to be made of all metal and has a very nice consistent quality finish. The fixture design is beautiful and goes well with the rest of the fixtures in the room. It is a very nice added touch. It looks great and does its job well. We are going to add a couple more fixtures from Delta soon.

Quality is great for the price, don't see any issues that could arise in the future as it seems to be well made, just like the others. This Delta Ara 18 Towel Bar in Matte Black looks great! The matte color is just what we needed to finish off our bathroom Good quality for a reasonable price. Easy to install. Sleek lines for a modern look or contemporary look. Measure, drill, install - nice and easy. This item seems durable and I don't think there should be any issues with the quality lasting. Nice packaging as you can see by my photos... the item shouldn't be scratched as it's nice and tight

The Delta 77524-BL Ara Collection 24 inch towel bar in Matte Black is very well made and the style is really nice. I especially like the secure way the bar mounts into the brackets and the rectangular bar is so much more appealing than the round bar on many towel bars. The towel bar posts are heavy cast metal and mounting bracket has a deep lip for the set screw to seat securely on the post. It's designed to coordinate with the Delta Ara faucet collection. I definitely recommend it for it's fine quality and style.

Matte black is the new thing, it seems....I like it....great new look and I like change, so I am excited about the new black look...this towel bar is very nice in look and function....I recommend it....as towel bars go...this is nice....I think most are pretty boring and plain....this one has some flair and style.... check it out... This is an excellent towel bar design with a mid-century look and the matte black finish makes a statement. There are a variety of matching accessories and faucets that really do match each other. I also have two robe hooks, a towel ring and a TP holder. (Yes, the TP holder can be reversed in about 15 seconds.) There is also a double towel bar available that I have used. The finish is flawless and with the included template, installation is easy. However, I have installed enough towel bars that the template really is not necessary. The towel bar is also available 24” and 30” sizes. The bar itself, can be trimmed to length with a fine-toothed hacksaw if you have a special situation. The 18-inch model is only suitable for one bath towel or two hand towels. I would say that the weight is on the medium side. The bar is ¼-inch wide by 5/8-inch high. If you want something that is heavier weight, Delta’s Pivotal line, might be a better choice. Although the product is flagged as “New” on the HD website, it has been available for more than two years. My only complaint is the short allen wrench they provide which makes tightening the set screw a tedious process. Seems like the cost of a bar-end wrench or a longer handle wrench would not be significant and would make installation quicker and more secure. I found that using a 2 mm, 9-inch tee handle allen wrench made short work of the installation.

High quality. Very stylish indeed, a nice update for my bathroom. As luck would have it the towel rack it replaced used the exact same method of mounting, and was already at the correct spacing, so I didn't have to do much to install, but it came with all the parts needed had I found that to be the case. It also comes with a template to position the brackets which is handy but I didn't require. The finish is great and seems to be well applied and is consistent across the whole bar and mounting arms. Overall a nice looking update.

The quality is excellent. And looks great. The assembly has some heft to it. The finish appears to be a powder coat, so I would expect it to last a very long time without chipping or any form of corrosion. The mounting is pretty simple and it comes with all the parts needed for sheet rock or wood mounting. It uses a fairly standard bracket with a set screw on the towel bar to mount onto the bracket. I also comes with the wrench to tighten. My only issue is with the bar, it is only 1/4" thick and thus towels and such hung on it touch, which reduces airflow between the two sides, and this might inhibit drying. we shall see if that is actually an issue.

Delta has really gotten fashion forward in recent years. I love the unique appearance of this towel bar and it looks great when mounted. The squared bar resists towels from slipping off and the black matte finish is attractive. The bar ends are well made in cast aluminum and the profile really draws the eye, especially when in ensemble with the other items from the Ara line. However, the installation hardware is surprisingly mundane for this quality level - the same beveled lip, single-fastener mount and set screw that was used on bars 40 years ago (see pic). Be sure you get the mounting screw and set screw secured tightly because any play against the wall makes the bar immediately very loose. That said, I wouldn't trust the plastic wall anchors included if you aren't catching a wall stud with the mounting screw (and you won't catch both ends on a 24" bar installed to a wall with 16" on-center studs). I would instead use metal wing moly bolts when going into standard wall board.

I really like the unique appearance of this towel bar and it looks great in my transitional bath. The squared bar profile and bar ends are without a doubt contemporary, yet there's a timeless appearance to it. So kudos on style. Quality-wise, it's ok - the bar ends are cast aluminum and nicely finished in a heavy semi-matte black enamel. However, the inserts that hold the bar are a grayish plastic that make it look a bit low grade if noticed (see pic). Maybe there's a reason they used plastic there (rattling?), but I can't be sure. Anyway, I easily Sharpie marked the exposed faces and they blend much better with the black bar. I assume they use the same gray insert for all their finishes.

Delta's new  Ara 18 inch  Towel Bar in Matte Black looks good and it is okay for the small towels. All necessary hardware is included in the kit for proper installation but it is a little time-consuming and tedious for a beginner DIY person.The finish was good. The design also is good and looks like a new generation product. I believe the price tag is a little too high. 

This is great upgrade for any bathroom, it gives nice contrast. Installing it was pretty easy as I was replacing my old towel holder with this one, so I was able to use existing wall anchors. All morning hardware was included, but I would recommend getting more advanced drywall anchors if mounting on hollow gypsum board wall. Towel bar has nice modern design and it is very accurate and slim if compared to my old one, which was pretty bulky, for that reason I have to do paint touch-up on the wall because old towel bar left few marks and new flanges are smaller than the old ones. Quality is pretty decent for it's price range and I would recommend it.

This Delta towel bar is another quality product from this company. It is the new black matte, which is replacing a lot of other bathroom finishes. It gives an industrial look without being too rustic. There are lots of black details that make a statement. This is the Ara style in a twenty four inch length. It also comes in other lengths and a double row. There is a matching Ara robe hook, towel ring and toilet paper holder.

The matte black is a lovely finish and matches perfectly with other items from this collection. The towel bar feels very sturdy and has a nice heavy metal feel. No complaints as it looks super unique and does what it is supposed to. I do think that for a towel bar though, it is somewhat overpriced. However, if this is the look you are going for, I’m sure you will get many compliments from your guests.

I really like delta bath fixtures. Excellent quality. This towel bar looks great has a really nice matte finish and is super easy to install has included hardware to attach.bar can be cut as well if needed to shorten an inch or so to fit your space. And I like that it’s solid as well not just a cheap towel bar. I’m sold on delta products for my home.

Highly recommend this Delta 24 inch towel bar from their Ara Collection. Really love the matte black color for a contemporary look. I usually get brushed nickel finish for bathroom accessories, but wanted a bolder look. I am so happy that Home Depot had a coordinating toilet paper holder and 18 inch towel bar in the same matte black finish in this collection so that I could complete the bathroom.
