We were looking for a toilet paper holder for our physically disabled son who experiences balance issues. This strong assistance bar gives him a way to steady himself, but it still looks very stylish. We also wanted a holder that would accommodate today's larger toilet paper rolls. This one has plenty of space between the roller bar and the wall, as well as being longer from side-to-side. One thing for buyers to be aware of/prepared for - to ensure the most secure installation is to locate and screw into the wall studs.

I like the look for an incorporated grab bar.

This was the perfect solution, because we didn't have a lot of space. And the bonus is that it doesn't look like a grab bar. The coordinating fixtures are also very pretty, and we are using a couple of those as well.

Great quality. Heavy. Easy to install. I blocked the wall to allow bolt-to-wood installation before I repaired the drywall and painted. The pivoting toilet roll bar works well and the grab bar is a great idea. We don’t need it yet but it’s a great thing to have as we get older.

I didn’t want my bathroom to look like “old lady has back surgery and it’s all downhill from there”. This product does NOT look like that. I was afraid that only something ugly and looking like a nursing home would work I wondered if the part where your hands go would be wide enough to get the leverage you need. I thought it might be difficult to replace the TP. Not. I was worried I would need a toilet seat riser. (And that does shout “NURSING HOME”!) It it is hard to tell for sure before you have had the surgery and the product is installed, but it’s perfect, everything about it. I would recommend this to anyone. I have had it 5 days now and I am so happy I bought it. Husband was wrong when he wanted Me to get big, ugly, industrial.

We put this in during bathroom remodel so we would have it for assistance in years ahead . Comes in very handy now. Very sturdy but still coordinates well with bathroom hardware. Very happy with it.

The +: Heavy steel construction, nice chrome finish, attractive modern design, pivot bar to load TP. The —: narrow bar to grab, TP close to grab bar make it hard to grab. To use for TP, it has to be closer to the toilet than you would want it to be for standing up and sitting down. Nuts.

This assist bar and paper holder was really easy to install. It looks good, its well made and functions very well as an assist bar. This was an excellent choice that we made for our toilet area.

The Venetian bronze toilet paper holder is a nice heavy construction that adds the modern updated look we were looking for in our remodeled bath. I was a little surprised when I opened it and found it was a handicap toilet paper holder that had an assist bar. It still looks great and will surely come in handy when we are older and need the assist bar.

The first thing I noticed is that this holder is very heavy, and very solidly built! This is a true safety grab bar, as well as an innovative toilet paper holder! The Champagne bronze finish is beautiful and well polished. The lift bar for the toilet paper roll is actually quite hidden if you did not know how it worked. All you need to install it is included, including two lag bolts for strength. Note that you will have to make sure you hit a stud or backing for it to be used as a grab bar.

The Decor Assist Contemporary Toilet Paper Holder with Assist Bar in Champagne Bronze is so high quality. The holder is so durable and has a quality look to it. It took about 30 minutes to install making sure I drilled into a stud to properly anchor it. So many people comment on how nice it looks. I am so glad I got this toilet paper holder with assist bar.

Heavy duty , shiny and stylish!

The Decor Assist Contemporary Toilet Paper Holder with Assist Bar in Champagne Bronze is practical and stylish at the same time. Discreetly doubling as an assist handle this toilet paper holder is perfect for any home, regardless of age. It looks high end, and is very sturdy to grab on to. Installation can be tricky with placement, best to anchor into a stud for support to hold someone up. Overall I have been impressed with this toilet paper holder!

+ far heavier and heavier-duty than the price (and in my experience, Delta) would suggest +/- one aluminum 3"? toggle for drywall necessitates one end go into a stud I've become wary of Delta from the shower heads I've gotten from them; this isn't uniquely a Delta issue as many fixture companies will cheap-out wherever possible, but this thing is unassailably heavy, durable, and just to reassure you it's Delta, from underneath it looks like the roll (not grab) bar is hollow sheet metal, though it's just a cutout forming a small, indestructible sheath. That said, ADA grab bars seem to universally mount on 3"(?) discs, and aftermarket discs plus aluminum toggles that go behind the drywall can be found here relatively cheap. These mount on ~1"x1" proprietary plates; one "standard" aluminum toggle is included, which necessitates mounting one end on a stud. This is an imperfect solution for my new-build 96"-on-center overpriced pos house, but I'd prefer not to test the toggle-plate capacity, so this goes up when I put wall studs in my house the contractor must have forgotten about. Be wary of new-builds, unless you like starting a cozy fire with a wall switch. Suspended in drywall. In any event, I got the chrome transitional, the bronze traditional and the bronze contemporary. The pictures do them justice, and they all operate the same way. If your house wasn't constructed by, and of, drunk chimpanzees, these should work well, especially if your studs let you strategically mount the side you're likely to put more weight on one. I'm redoing all my walls out of nothing but flush studs, so I'll have more leeway there.

This Delta Decor Assist Contemporary Toilet Paper Holder with Assist Bar in Champagne Bronze has a beautiful design. it is so nice that it instantly enhances the bathroom appearance. Add to the beauty the assist bar that can support 100 pounds when installed correctly and you have a extra special toilet paper holder. While it is hard to get excited about a toilet paper roll holder, the beauty and practical use of the assist bar does make this one special.

Delta's Décor Assist contemporary Toilet Paper holder has a polished Chrome finish. The paper holder has great weight and sturdiness. Delta is constantly redefining the lavatory experience. We instinctually grab hold of something and Delta made it a simple decision with style. I had to add solid bracing in the wall to mount the Toilet paper holder to give it the sturdiness of assisting in the lifting process. I would not recommend mounting to a hollow wall with anchors or you will be repairing the wall. I would recommend this product.

Not your ordinary toilet paper holder. When I ordered my new Decor Assist toilet paper holder, I thought it was some sort of new double rung designs. I was mistaken! This is a special toilet paper holder that' doubles as an assist bar. The top bar is used as a handle for someone to pull/hold themselves up with. The bottom rung is the toilet paper roll holder with a flip up bar. This actually works in my favor, since I'm going to install it in the bathroom of my condo. I plan on using the condo as my permanent residence when I retire, so this is perfect! Construction: This is a very heavy duty toilet paper roll holder. The top rung is sturdy and solid. The sides are also very sturdy and the attaching hardware is very well engineered. A special "anchor" is provided, which gives the bar a lot of strength. The roll holding bar has a hinge that moves up to allow the roll to be inserted vs a spring loaded bar like others use. Aesthetics: Our new toilet paper holder looks great. The chrome finish is flawless and the design is very modern. The bar has not only an upscale look, but the solid feel gives the impression of a long lasting, sturdy towel bar. Installation: This one was a little tougher than a normal bar. The special anchor is actually a piece of aluminum that drops into the wall (actually goes up). The anchor tightens to a bracket that the towel bar is hung on (two brackets). The part that added complexity was the anchor. I had to be installed at a certain minimum angle from vertical. If not, the bar wouldn't have strength and could pull through the drywall. I truly lucked out on the ordering of my new toilet paper holder. Not only does it look great, have a modern feel and rock solid stability, but it also performs another function as an assist bar. For me, our new toilet paper holder is perfect and a very pleasant surprise.

Really nice toilet paper holder really like this color just champagne breasted Delta came out with real nice luxurious fixture I was able to grab an 18 inch towel bar and a 24 along with the toilet paper holder installed on the wall installed toilet paper and it really nice heavy design easy to work with equita to the wall looks good very stylish would recommend this anybody doing upgrade or new construction

This toilet paper holder is trying to be many things - they all depend on the installation. If you chose to put this in a place where someone will need an assist bar to get up off the toilet, then you better put this on a good solid beam and use screws large enough and deep enough to be that - a grab bar that happens to hold a roll of toilet paper.
