Seems like a good valve. Wish it would tighten down onto the string board better, without any movement/flex.

The rough in box allowed the hot and cold water...
The rough in box allowed the hot and cold water to mix. This resulted in a lack of hot water throughout the house. had to but the actual valve in to fix this problem while bathroom still under construction.

I am not a plumber,but soldering this unit with no valves of any kind inside eliminates most chance for failure.

The product in the box was not the same product as in the picture. Had to return it after I waited 10 days for it. :(

Works great.
Faucet is beautiful. Be sure to install according to the instructions that come with the shower valve body rough-in kit and NOT the shower faucets.

Had our plumber install it, and it went in easily....
Had our plumber install it, and it went in easily. I really like the flexibility of using this valve with ANY other Delta shower trim kit. This level of compatibility means that when our trim kit needs replacing, we don't need to redo all the plumbing.

I actually returned this stand alone rough in valve and...
I actually returned this stand alone rough in valve and bought a complete kit with guts and trim that had this identical valve, that valve worked great.

The sterling 4 piece shower (Accord) was rounded back and...
The sterling 4 piece shower (Accord) was rounded back and the shower valve was required on the curved side of the shower for the handicapped person and no provisions were made for placement. It was installed 1/3 distance from the back wall panel verses on the side wall panel. with some modifications and sealing.
