Fits the cartridge that comes with the Delta trim kit. Pricey for just a piece of brass but all of them are.

This valve didn’t include the cartridge, without which it doesn’t work. I ended up having to buy a whole shower head kit to get the valve with the cartridge.

Hi Waldo,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your thoughts. I am sorry that this R10000-UN rough-in valve did not include the cartridge as this is a component that comes with the actual trim kit itself. As the manufacturer, we are committed to supplying consumers with a quality product that delivers the expected performance.

While this unit would have worked, I actually exchanged it for one that has service line screws to turn the water supply lines on and off. This unit is better suited to new construction, where water would not be turned on. My job was a remodel where water needed to be on in the rest of the house.

Fingers Crossed
Seems like a good valve. Wish it would tighten down onto the string board better, without any movement/flex.
