When talking about the finished wall is that the sheetrock or sheetrock with the tile installed?

Can this be plumbed with PVC piping?
Asked by Dave November 5, 2020This valve can be plumbed with PVC. but I would not recommend it using PVC. At a minimum use CPVC for the hot water side of the valve. the reason I don't recommend PVC is the male brass threaded fittings on the valve will put stress on the female PVC fittings producing a high probability of splitting and leaking. If you insist on using PVC get some brass couplers to make the connection with the PVC be the male part to female metal connection for a much lower probability of cracked PVC fittings.
Which cartridge do I need for this valve?

If I put this in and decide later that we don't want the tub, only shower, will this still work?
Asked by Bryan May 22, 2020Yes, you would just put in a plug for the tub line on the valve.
Will I need to get a valve handle as well and if so what ones are compatible?
Asked by Tyler February 2, 2020Yes you will need handle and I think the size is universal. Some kits with shower head assembly come with handle.
how do you change a high flow valve to a regular tub
Asked by john22 December 11, 2019John22, if you do in fact have a Delta R10000-UNWSHF (HF is hi flow) valve this is for a shower only- the valve has inlets for hot and cold supply lines, and one outlet-on top of valve to send water up(hi flow means up) to a shower head. If you want a tub spout you will have to replace your HF shower valve body with a shower/tub valve such as a Delta R10000-UNBX - this valve has inlets for hot and cold supply lines and two outlets- one up for shower head, one down for tub spout. Besides the typical installation for a tub/shower the BX valve can also be used for shower only, or tub only by capping the unused outlet. The term hi flow does not have anything to do with volume of water- it simply means the water flows up-high.

need female conection have they got that?
Asked by JD July 9, 2019This rough in kit only has male connection. Look carefully at the image. You would have to make adaptor to use female connectors with it. You can solder in copper pipes into the connections.
This doesn't have a built in flow or water pressure restrictor...correct?
