This product is as described and was very easy to replace the part following the instructions. After I replace the cartridge the shower works as new. You can do it and have a new faucet for the next 15 years.

replaced an old cartridge. While visually they did not match, the included plastic adapters made it a perfect fit.
My suggestion for someone looking to fix an old shower is to find the part number for the original cartridge, then you can find the modern replacement for it. I went to few places before realizing that old and new don't have to look the same.

Turns out I only needed a new seal set the cartridge itself was fine, BUT I could only purchase the set of seals and cartridge together not separately.

This product was excellent since I found the correct one. It took me two visits to Home Depot - thought I had it right the first time. Please make it easier figuring out which cartridge goes with which shower equipment. Return was easy and pleasant!
