Purchased this Delta faucet based on good past experiences as we already have a few others. The styling and size etc fit our needs. Surprisingly with this particular faucet after only 2 weeks of use… the cold water handle spins right around. It doesn’t stop after a quarter turn. Fortunately it does still turn the water off. Plumber will be coming this week to check it out but may be contacting Delta for a replacement cold water stem? They have been good in the past about sending new parts. But regardless, it should have lasted more than 2 weeks.

The quality of this faucet is poor. It looked nice originally but corroded very quickly with all the bronze color changing color at the bottom of all pieces. The handle turns from the bottom rather than at the top which is odd. The entire handle is now loose on our faucet. I would not recommend.

We just installed this a week ago and the right handle is falling off. I showed the contractor and he fixed it only to have both handles now falling off when you turn on the faucet! Very poorly made. Beautiful to look at, but lousy craftsmanship . I purchased this faucet because We have other delta products and I love them. I am taking this faucet back.

Aesthetically beautiful which made it really disappointing to have to return. I was not confident an exchange would be wise given there were multiple defects. The washer on one of the knobs would not rest flush making it impossible to screw in without removing the washer all together. The spout was configured different from what the directions showed making it impossible to attach the drain stop because the plastic tubing was in the way.

Bought this faucet to replace an old American Standard faucet. The Silverton is very nicely designed, however, that's all it really has. The quality isn't really there like my old one and the instructions were less than adequate, more like lousy. Customer service wasn't all that helpful when I was trying to inquire as to why the handles kept falling off. I finally got the handles to stay put but after reading all the comments here. For anyone that needs help, the solution is rather simple. Unscrew the bottom ring w the two screws that hold it in place and push up valve thru the sink base. Then, very important, screw down the base plate where the handles rest and then secure the underneath ring nut again. This will insure that you get enough of the stem inside the handle to secure w/ the mini screw. See pic attached. Left side is correct, right one is wrong factory default. Hope this helps. Delta, you have really disappointed many customers.

This faucet is truly truly a piece of crap. I am not a home repair pro, but tried to pick a quality middle of the road product. We purchased this a year ago, and one handle falls off, and the other turns to the back of the sink. Neither of us is very handy....this has caused great marital strain. Every time I enter the bathroom and try to wash my hands, I am frustrated. I have also been searching and can no longer find the receipt. Sigh.... We are buying a new faucet (Moen perhaps) and have to have someone out to install in. I am annoyed.

Definitely purchase chrome fixtures. The lining in alloy products can crumble .

This is an elegant fixture for any bathroom. The finish is excellent, the design of the fixture is more geared towards either traditional or transitional designs, but could also work in an environment that is more modern if you decide to have a juxtaposition of new versus old. Having said all that, the installation was a little bit of a challenge, even for someone like me, who has installed many faucets before. The overall finished product though was well worth the extra effort.

Delta Silverton is Beautiful, Instructions allow install to be super simple and the kit includes everything needed to beautifully update your bathroom sink. Delta Guarantees for Life Kit includes Chrome Finish Faucet and Stem Unit, gasket, washer and nut, 2 Handles with guide rings, flange, gaskets and nuts, Pop Up Drain with Lift Rod, and Hose assembly blocks and O rings. If you are not replacing faucet and this is a new install you will need hot and cold water lines, silicone, plumbers tape a few tools, also used plumbers putty not listed Assembly suggested anywhere from 6 inches to 16 inches which will able for quick install on sink styles sold today. Due to my home being 15 years old and a porcelain sink the holes for handles needed a bit of an adjustment, with a quick drilling type sander attachment, holes were extended to a wider distance. The results are absolutely stunning in comparison to the builders model.

This widespread delta silverton faucet is of pretty good quality, as should be expected from delta. The style is quite nice and classy, and the shine is very nice. However it shows stains easily like toothpaste and whatever else so frequent cleaning is needed. Installation is fairly typical and straightforward as with most bath faucets. Would recommend

First off, I was impressed with how well it was packed. The box had straps to secure it from popping open and then was wrapped in heavy plastic on top of that. So no worries with it arriving to the door damaged. This is a good looking faucet. The chrome is very shiny. This is one high quality setup. The faucet is pretty heavy for a faucet. No worries about it lasting. It instantly upgraded even my old basin. This is a widespread setup. Unfortunately I am still waiting on my widespread basin so this is shown on my old basin. It looks really good here, so I can only imagine how much better it will look spread out. Installation was easy. It was not as easy as a recent faucet I installed, but still very simple. The instructions are very clear and well marked. The quick connect hoses for the faucet make that part a breeze. Unlike the previous faucet I installed, this one did not have the supply hookups already connected. You will have to provide the correct size hookups to your water supply. I see pros and cons between the way Delta does it and the other brand.. Delta is well made with metal tubing from the faucet to the supply line.. Unlike the model that had the supply lines already attached being the braided hose. If there is an issue with the supply line for this Delta faucet, you replace the line and go back to normal. I am afraid for the other, it would most likely lead to a full replacement as there was no way to replace just the line. Overall, really impressed by this faucet. It is well made and looks it.

I love the fact that Delta is focusing on creating fixtures that are easier to install and less likely to leak due to improper connections. This faucet has a connection that comes with it that functions like a click connect, or shark bite fitting. You click the connection from the faucet, to each of the handles. A standard braided connection still goes from the water supply to the handle. However, since the connections from the faucet to the handles are the hardest to get to, especially in a retrofit, this is very helpful.

So Classy! Delta Silverton bathroom faucet is a simple but beautiful 8 inch widespread faucet and Drain assembly is included. You will need 3 holes for the installation. We love chrome finishes as they seem to clean up so easily and look new, in my opinion, so this Chrome faucet is no exception. It is Water Sense Certified as well. I have yet to install it, as I'm waiting for my plumber to do it.

We chose this faucet to maintain the theme of the current bathroom hardware. It's finish and build quality are great, but installation was a bit frustrating. After getting everything in place, I found that the drain plug rod assembly was catching on the mixing tubes, so I had to carefully bend some things around to get it to all play nice. Thankfully, the copper tubing was forgiving so I could correct this. Overall, not a bad product if you need something in this style.

Nice and heavy, BUT I'm not a fan of these kinds of faucets where there is a copper line running down. I prefer the one with the brass plastic pipes and a plastic nut which is more secure. If you can, install the faucet BEFORE you install the sink so you can use two crescent wrenches to tighten the faucets down. If not, you may only be able to tighten the supply line, which may twist the copper lines. You'll see how long the thin copper pipes are in my pictures. I love deltas and I'm sure these will last you at least 15+ years, but be careful with the installation. I keep a microfiber cloth on the vanity and wipe the faucet down every time I use it to keep the chrome shiny and not full of water spots

I’m upgrading the bath vanities and decided on the Delta Silverton 8 Inch Widespread 2-Handle Bathroom Faucet. The high-arc spout design and polished chrome finish are very elegant and stylish. It comes with quick connect fittings between the handles and spout, and only needs water supply lines to the handles. I am very pleased with the performance and aesthetics of the faucet. The handles have self-lubricating seats for decades of drip-free performance. Installation is very easy and includes a pop-up drain assembly. The faucet has a limited lifetime warranty on all parts and finish to the original purchaser.

This DELTA SILVERTON bathroom faucet is very well made it has all copper pipe connections and not cheap plastic. It looks nice as it is three individual parts which really look high-end. The faucet itself is very well made. It features a 3-hole 6-16" installation Includes pop-up drain assembly and it is backed by Delta Faucet’s Lifetime Limited Warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Delta faucet a couple of weeks ago. This Delta 35713LF-ECO faucet matches the other fixtures in my bathroom perfectly. The retro appearance gives an updated look to my previously boring bathroom.

I feel like its a good faucet, the finish is good quality. If I had one slight complaint it would be the drain stop mechanism. Feels a little light and not quite as sturdy as the rest of the components. Its been installed for over a year with no problems, leaks, etc.

This is the third set of these I've installed in our house. They are great. They just need to lable the hot and cold better for installation purposes.

I love the look of this faucet. It looks more expensive than it is. The only complaint from the installer was that the instructions were not very good.

Installed in new bath which has high end prducts, marble floors, granite countertop etc. Delta make all the fixtures for shower, towel hook etc so same theme throughout which is nice. Faucet looks and works great. Fraction of the cost for the higher end products which I've used in my other bath. The reason for Delta. Replacement parts are standard and always available vs the competitors. So it's the things after the sale that make a difference and reason why I went with Delta.

Unfortunately this stylish and affordable faucet has a major flaw: the handles do not stay on. I keep an Allen wrench in the top draw to constantly tighten the handles before they pop off with use.

This is a great looking faucet, but I had some issues with it. The instructions indicate that you should put the handle with the H on the left and the C on the right side, which is the standard configuration. There wasn't an "H" or a "C" or even red or blue markings to indicate temperature. I was installing this into a new sink, so I was able to install it with the sink out of the vanity. I feel bad for anyone trying to install this into an existing vanity. The water mixing tubes are very stiff and want to coil in a bad direction. This caused the tubes to block the rod that actuates the plug for the sink. So I had to move those around. Then the brass tube that runs up to the faucet was bent out so that it interfered with plastic bracket that guided the rod that actuates the plug. I could not move the rod at all until I bent the tube inward. That would have been almost impossible reinstalling that in an older vanity. I also had problems with the handles. They would not go far enough down on the faucet to allow me to install the set screws properly. I ended up going back to the store to get a different brand since I didn't want to risk going through all this again.

Love the faucet look and feel. Installed two of these on a dual sink countertop. Installation was easy but had two minor issues: 1) the Hot side was mislabeled on the one faucet so this resulted in the handles "pushing away" instead of "pulling" when turning the faucet on. Just swapped the hot and cold sides and all was good. 2) the ball rod was too short for the sink we paired this with, a Kohler Archer Self-Rimming Bathroom Sink. This required that I clamp on an extra rod to extend the ball rod so that it would reach the vertical drop rod. Overall love this faucet, just need better quality on labeling hot/cold sides. Just be sure to test turn the valves before tightening to be sure the valves are configured correctly.

The install was a nightmare as it went into a pedestal sink. The connections were plastic slip and clip and they was barley enough hose to make the connection. The amount of plastic in was a bit much as well for a 125.00 facet. You have to time the valves before you install or take them back out and do so like I had to.The valves have two screws that when everything is assembled takes a 9" Phillips screwdriver and in my case a pedestal it was blind. Just a huge disappointment and the one it replaced was so much higher quality. Now back to fix the leaks - don't buy it.
